Hooray. The first of many to come. The finest cabaret singer ever, and a joy to see her and Christopher together "doing their thang". Thank you so much for posting it.

Thank you so much for finding Nancy and sharing her with us. My favorite singer since her appearance on "Mostly Mercer" singing "Beautiful Baby."

Some singers are not afraid to show their hurts as well as their joys. Those singers are the best singers. This lady may have been the best. Nancy V

The incomparable Nancy LaMott. Every time she opens her mouth she makes musical history. Ironically, she *_crushes_* the competition, by voiding every scrap of ego in her rendition.

Thanks for posting this. I was lucky enough to see her in person at a Frank Sinatra tribute at Carnegie Hall in the mid 1990's. She sang I Have Dreamed, which is an awesome song. She was such a talented singer, one who left us way too soon. We are fortunate that the legal issues surrounding her cds and radio appearances have been worked out so that more of her material can surface to the public.

OMG, I had no idea any of her music was on You Tube! I saw her in concert many years ago in a little club in San Francisco as she was a close friend of someone I grew up with. Such a tragic loss just as her career was ready to take off. And all those years with that damned litigation. Thank you so so much for posting! A devoted fan.

Brilliantly arranged and performed. Some one made very strange comments about it's being "over staged." They also said "corny." Oh - please! - ultra amazing.

It's true. She oversang the song. It's meant to be a ballad... that hyped up ending ruined it.

Corny songs? She had great taste in material which she interpreted flawlessly
@evans5416 жыл бұрын
well you have a right to your opinion but to me neither the material nor the interpretation has anything "corny" about it- msybe you can explain yout terms more cause I dont see what you see at all

To me Nancy was an above average vocalist with below average emotion and heart. I felt she let the songs sing her.
