I mean filk music is a thing, and gaelic music was popular in the 2010s I think
@andor8884 жыл бұрын
@@rerere284 This is a bit more specific than that though. Songs that have been referred to as "bardcore" are covers of pop music in a "medieval style". More often than not accompanied by these edited tapestry images as a visual element, in the spirit of the medieval tapestry meme. Sometimes with rewritten lyrics in a manner similar to Shakespearean English.

Behold: Lord Frederic mercurius of zanzibar I and his majestic bard with their poet, I doth want to break free.
@MrMobiusfan4 жыл бұрын
The truth be that Frederic Mercurius is but a nom-de-plume. His name of birth is Farrukh Busala, most fitting for a man from distant Zanzibar.
@dylanchouinard61414 жыл бұрын
MrMobiusfan I thought Lord Frederic was of the ancient blood of Cyrus and Xerxes? Was not his funeral orchestrated under the rites of the fire worshiping religion native to that land?
@johndoeanon4454 жыл бұрын
@@dylanchouinard6141 Aye, he did adopt the worship of Zarathustra. His ancestors were however from the further lands of the Indus. Although of a people who fled there during the final days of the Sasanian Empire of old. So in a way, he would indeed have the blood of Xerxes in his veins.

-th is the 2nd/3rd person singular ending, it's not used for the infinitive. Also, you use 'thine' before a vowel sound, otherwise it should be 'thy' ("thy lines", not "thine lines"). And it should be "I don't require thee", not "I don't require thou" because thou is usedin the nominative, whereas you need the accusative.

@squodge2 жыл бұрын
Why do you have "I desire'th"? The -th ending is used for the 3rd person singular, not the 1st person singular. Also, the -ed endings weren't fixed in that era, so you could've had "fulfill'd" rather than "fullfilled". "I doth" also doesn't make grammatical sense (again, -th ending isn't for 1st person singular). I know you're just making mock mediaeval lyrics, but at least get it right!
