*For those who still don’t get why it’s called “I want to eat your pancreas” here’s the reason: there’s a myth(or some old ritual) that says eating a certain body part will make the one who eats it body part feel better, ex eat a liver for a better liver. She tells him she wants to “eat his pancreas” because she wants to recover and live since she is secretly afraid of dying and puts up a front. Also in a religion, if you eat a part of someone it’s believed that their soul will stay within you.. which is why he says he wants to “eat her pancreas” since they’ve become very close and even though she’ll die of her illness, he wants her to live on in him...* It was a great movie

The fact that you think it's good shows that you have an incredibly limited view of the world. The most offensive part is that no one in the movie even looks like they have cancer. Hazel looks like she has a light cold and is just using the oxygen to be an asshole. The other guy needs an ass kicking. I don't care if he has cancer, he's still a pretentious asshole who needs to be put in his place, just like John Green. It was wish fulfillment at its worse. That is exactly what John Green wishes he could be like in high school and it's sickening.

*This was really good to watch and made me cry although, I'm really curious to see if they're inspired with Your lie in April. The scene happened in April, the girl is sick but very lively and happy on the outside, the boy looks like Kousei, the girl died for the boy to live, they even added a farewell letter, Sakura playing the water in the beach reminds me of of Kousei and Kaori playing together in some kind of river. Although, the plot isn't the same. How she died, how she handled things, but Kyoko reminds me of Tsubaki because of her hair. It kinda reminds me of Clannad and Silent Voice vibes in the scene where they go together in the fireworks. This movie made me tear up like a baka*

Well I am happy that Robbie Daymond and Erika Harlacher are voicing anime love interests. Is this Erica Mendez’s first time voice directing because she is doing a pretty good job. Even though I was expecting Micheal Sinterniklaas and Stephanie Sheh to be directing this movie as they have been doing this for a really long especially when it comes down to movies like this. But I wish Erica Mendez the best of luck. Well I am looking forward to this. Especially after Robbie Daymond got a people’s choice award on BTVA for his performance as Shoya Ishida from A Silent Voice.
