I don't know if someone told you but his text said "I want to eat your pancreas". The meaning of it was from the scene in the barbecue place where she told him eating a piece of someone means keeping their soul with you forever. So essentially his text meant "I want to be with you forever". This should let you understand why it was so important to him to know that she saw it, his feeling had reached her.

I remember reading the manga first surprisingly, and I cried for a whole 100 pages. My parents were worried and I was over here saying, this story is unfair, and got damn it, I’m dying because the main characters were so likable and man… I’m crying writing this 😭

This movie and the series Anohana: The Last Flower We Saw That Day, Angel Beats and Clannad: After Story all made me cry to many times throughout the episodes. I refuse to watch all of them a 2nd time, cuz it hurts that much😢

i watched this movie 2 years ago, it was great don´t know why it´s not so famous as silent voice and your name. All of them are great, i don´t watch love animes or movies but these 3 movies are worth to watch.

many people think its overrated and too cliche and boring. but i disagree its simple but its effective and realistic. i do agree with people who say the ending could've been cut shorter but that's just a minor flaw. still personally enjoyed this more than your name and silent voice. they're objectively better films to most people but the vibe and simplicity and emotional depth from this film is just great.

I suggest two movies, this two movies are related wherein you can pick which ever to start with and you will have different experience depending on which you start first. So the titles are "To Every You I've Loved Before" and "To Me, The One Who Loved You" respectively. It is a Romance, Sci-fi. It is relatively new movies. Hope you get trough it on youtube soon.

Honestly...i know that her best friend may seem overbearing..but as someone who really cares about my best friend..i would be dying within getting angsty too. I totally understand where she is coming from. I do realize that perhaps Kyoko's overprotectiveness is what forced her to seek a relationship that is normal. But at the same time, once you know your best friend is fatally sick...how do you just put it aside and act normal even for their sake? I believe Sakura understood this and that's why never held Kyoko's behaviour against her. And i fully support Sakura choosing freedom to live whatever time she has left...but how do you as her friend and family overlook this? There is a murderer on the loose, she had a toxic boyfriend not too long ago..and then you, her best friend see her with a guy you don't even know/aware of..and then she even takes a trip with him, lying to her parents. As sweet and romantic as it sounds....her being suspicious and on edge against our main character here totally makes sense. To me the reveal to her hit me so hard that i burst into tears all again.

Honestly, I haven't watched this, but I know the story and the plot. Right now, I'm not watching this reaction either; I just wanted to comment, 'How can you watch something like this?' Actually, it's not that I've never watched it, but more accurately, I watched it but couldn't finish it. And I was so hurt that I couldn't continue watching.
