On concert discipline from audience end, I have seen one mami eliminating the dry leaves of spinnach and packeting the good ones for next day cooking...............We can see such behaviors in the classroom from students......bascially not being attentive to what's going around or the purpose of being in a hall. Such incidents doesn't happen 90% in movie theatres. It depends on the artiste and how far they can keep the audience attention intact for 3 hours. If the artiste cannot mesmerise, audience will continue to behave so.

He sounds like a hostage suffering from Stockholm syndrome .. seems to know the atrocities of caste system but at the same time seems to want to appease the dissonance filled Brahmins by taking a poorly veiled caste blind lite swipe at the liberals for not “respecting” Carnatic music and sing “whatever” music. I don’t blame him that much. He has to feed his family I guess. Sigh. Still a good singer. Maybe he’ll become an artist later in life, when he is financially stable. Good luck.

Myslef who wants to seek short term satisfaction ( instant) listens to the mordren music ., where we get good mileage of bliss will listen to Carnatic music ...it's my opinion..
