My understanding is it gives more damage in exchange for utility. If you're dealing with dash champions (Azir, Lee Sin and Sylas in this game) its better to have damage since they'll just dash away and the slow won't really matter as much.

man I wanna play asol, but even if I go full carry mode and end up 15/4 my whole team ints 5/50 and autoloses the game cant have nice things back to support...
