Fun fact! Taric is one of the few champions in League that doesn't have alternative animations for critical hits. Meaning, there's no animation difference between smack-smack and SMACK-SMACK.

Taric actually does have a crit animation (a quick flick of the wrist smack on the head, less followthrough) but the animation is overwritten by the animation change of his passive. You only see it if it's a regular auto.

This one gets a like. I do not often like videos. But this one gets a like. We did it. He took up The Way of the Hammer. He shed the bonds that every other Taric build lives under. Some notes: Those 2 items are the only 2 items you need for crit Taric. You can literally build him however you want beyond ER/Navori, and you can let the Navori slide until later if you need to solve a problem. The Essence Reaver is the real key here, Navori just synergizes with it well. Essence Reaver should be a core item on Taric regardless of build, it solves his biggest 2 issues. One, his mana instantly becomes a non-issue ever again. Two, he doesn't hit very hard otherwise. It ensures you will always have healing, shielding, and stuns to fight with, while also giving you a massive source of damage in your autos. Essence Reaver and Navori are kinda the "ooo, neat tricks" items right now. They work on basically all characters, and you can make a viable off-meta build utilizing at least one of them on every character.

I think this would have worked better as a hybrid build. Go whatever you normally go first item, then go ER and FB, then finish with tank or AP items. You need the heal to actually work for it to be truly op.

Zwag, do you remember when Frozen Mallet was still in the game? That item + this wild build would go so hard. The version of it that I remember gave 30 AD, 700 HP, and auto attacks slowed the enemy by around 30% I think (with no cooldown).

i tried this exact thing in supp, but i couldnt pull it off because of how weak flicker blade actually is... instead i ended up with this build: Supp item > tear > death's Dance > plate boots. Thats core, then you can go muramana first / something like terminus or black cleaver. Its super expensive yes but Its ok because of how strong it synergizes with taric. The armour + extra damage from armor + boots dmg reduction + healing + DD dmg reduction is really strong. Especially if you get celestial opposition with its 35% dmg reduction on top of everything, but i usually go blood song to burst down the adc and heal the DD's dmg

Enchanter Hwei is my favorite build on him recently. starts out normalish but goes support late game with his WW give well over 1khp regenerating sheilds, you have around 700ap and 80ish AH Build i go is seraph's embrace critbloom rabadons moonstone Dawncore Ardents censer/Staff of Flowing Water Runes page is normally Aery mana flow band absolute focus gathering storm font of life revitalize

Try kite annie. I go nashors, guinsoos, lichbane, cosmic drive, rylais. It makes your Q on a super fast cool down and you can weave autos and spells together ridiculously fast. Super fun and the gameplay pattern is way different from normal burst annie.
