I was a Peace Corps Volunteer: My First Day
My first day wasn't easy. I was stuck on a plane for almost twenty hours of it, wore clothes that made me feel like I was trapped in an oven at customs, and got car sick from watching my amazing bus driver evade other vehicles and people sprinting in and out of the lanes. I was disoriented for the most part but still managed to appreciate all the new colors, sights, and sounds around me.
I still didn't know what I had gotten myself into but I knew it was going to be something completely different from anything I had ever done before.
