Mfa Zaman left Bangladesh and moved to London, after he had been promised a safe job and a better life. However, as soon as he arrived to London, he realized that his new boss had a different ''face'' from what he has shown before. This is the inspiring story of Mfa Zaman and his life as a victim and a survivor of modern slavery.

I spent 5 days with Mohammed for the filming of this documentary. Even if he doesn't live in the most financially secure situation, he made sure he offered me lunch twice and met me in the last day just to give me some gifts, before I left. Even after all he went through, he focus on giving and giving. He told me he doesn't wish a lot of money. He just needs enough, so he can keep on helping others. You truly don't need a lot to help other people.

It is absolutely unbelievable what he had to go through- that the police would not even believe him... Thank god there were people who supported him instead after everythimg. To have the spirit to give instead of turning his back towards the world after experiencing this hell... Mohammed is such a huge valuable source of light in this world. Olá Marco! Desculpa demorar tanto a responder. Não fui notificado. O plano é eu continuar a viajar para o UK e filmar mais histórias :) Aliás, adorava viajar e partilhar histórias de pessoas à volta do mundo. Infelizmente, para já este projeto não me dá dinheiro para o fazer. Talvez mais para a frente. Para encontrar pessoas procuro em imensas redes sociais: instagram e reddit maioritariamente. Também vejo jornais locais para ver se há alguma coisa interessante. Outras vezes são recomendações. Por exemplo, neste caso o Mfa Zaman conhecia o Rudi, viu a história dele, e decidiu entrar em contacto direto comigo. O Rudi foi recomendação do Andrew (outra história que também partilhei). Mas nem toda a gente aceita. Muitas vezes eu mando mensagens e e-mails e sou ignorado. Faz parte :)
