This is a short documentary featuring a parkour/freerunning athlete. Here Márcio shares his journey, what's behind his parkour training, what's behind the jump and what it takes to overcome a mental barrier. While spending a few days following Márcio I learned that parkour is much more than just jumping around and for me that was really important to show in this documentary.

Everything Marico said is the same thing i have always said. And I can 100% relate to everything he said. Because being the a Pk athlete myself. I know that feeling when u stick that landing after trying it so many times or when u finally get that move down u been trying so hard to get. You know the same way he learned and started PK was the same way I did too. PK change my life on I see the world and environment around me PK is my second passion I love it. And I want to spend the rest of my life doing Pk. To all of the people watching PK and thinking of trying it. Just go for it. Going out and training it is the only real way to learn and start to perfected it. Dont gave up on if u dont get your first couple of times. U have to keep at it. And trust me of u give it if u give it your 100% effort u will get it. To master Pk u must perfected the basic movements/ fundamentals of Pk till its second nature. Even the Pros dont always get it there first or couple times.What separates them from others is their mindset and work ethic to Wanna Get Better.And don't let someone else words or feeling be the reason u quit.❤🏃

Thank you so much Kabir! I filmed that scene in 3 different angles. There was like a "bridge" where I could walk to get the angle from the side while he was jumping :) I'm making a video on my gear, but I only will post it on patreon, as I don't want to focus on gear on the main channel :)

I am a noob and trying to learn making documentaries. And I came to this video, I like the way you edit and use less transitions and more directions.this makes it more cinematic. I like you. By the way, which editing software do you use?

Thank you very much! :) Yeah, I used to think a lot about transitions but soon realized they were overrated. Lightning is much more important when it comes to cinematic documentaries. I use adobe premiere pro. But if you're looking for a free amazing software you have Davinci resolve

Muito obrigado Sara 😊 Isso faz-se com um estabilizador/gimbal. O Márcio tinha uma e eu usei. Se quiseres um efeito smooth a seguir uma pessoa, ou mesmo para outros movimentos, a gimbal é perfeita. Imita o o trabalho de uma crane que só existe em filmes com grandes budgets. Mas uma gimbal ainda é um investimento de 400€ por isso convém pensar muito bem no uso que se dará antes de comprar
