Proud of Braden for opening up. He is so quiet and private it had to have been difficult for him. But it was actually very touching to hear him call Danny "Dad". I don't think I've heard him do that before. You could tell they were both a little nervous about the whole thing.

I think without him even knowing,it, Braden also sees a dad that is always there for him and that is something that will be handed down to HIS children too. He'll be the coach, the cheerleader, the everything a dad could be, just like Danny did for him. Y'all are fantastic!

Danny, you went above and beyond what most men wouldn't even be man enough to do. You and Tina have raised your kids, all of them to be such wonderful people and so kind-hearted. It's so courageous of Braden to step out of his comfort zone and speak on this. Go Braden!!. This is why I love you guys so much and I will continue to be a loyal fambammer for life.

I don’t know how any can unlike a post about a man raising a child and loving him as his own. I’ve been in my stepdaughters life since she was 4. Had years where her mom didn’t want anything to do with her. I wouldn’t change our bond for the world. Being a parent is hard work being a step parent and being judged by everyone is even harder! You have raised an amazing young man❤️

I really relate to Brayden and Ashlyn. My real dad has never been in my life. When i was young it didn't matter. But now as I reach 30 that desire to know him is very strong. Also the feelings of abandonment become stronger as I get older. As I have my own family, jobs etc you start wondering why. But having Danny in their truly makes the difference. Thank you for sharing and being so open.

Thank you for sharing such a personal part of your life. From what we see on the vlogs, Danny is such an amazing Dad and Braden and Ashlynn hit the lottery. He is so kind, loving, a role model and PRESENT in all of your children's lives. It was nice hearing Braden share his thoughts. I have noticed in the last few months that Braden has been more involved in the vlogs and it's been nice to see him more often and more comfortable in front of the camera. Thanks again! :)

I’ve always said that the term father is something that is on a birth certificate but dad is a term of endearment that’s earned. Danny is a true dad in every aspect and it must have felt so good the first time Braden called you Dad. If any of you out there wonder about the bond these two have for each other just watch the video where they send Braden off on his mission.

BRADEN you were awesome. DANNY you are the best DAD. Every vlog shows how much love your family has for each other and I believe this comes from Mom and Dad being examples on how to show love and always being there for their children. Its always hard to blend families but you guys did it. All your children are confident, bright, and great humans. With the backbone of love they have received from their parents, they will have the tools necessary to deal with all this world brings their way. LOVE your family and Braden so very proud of you #FAMBAMMER4LIFE

My adopted child is also named Braeden. He spells his name differently, I got him at 2 days old and had him in my home until he was 18. Even with me raising 7 children alone, I never talked bad about their dad because they were 1/2 him and I didn't want them to feel that part of themselves was flawed. I tell you, you two have the best relationship and when the parents love each other, they have that love to give their children.

Danny those kiddos are blessed to have you! My husband had the same relationship as you did with your dad. Work was bonding for them & while it’s a learning experience, it hurts my husband because they weren’t as close as he thought. Some men just do what they know and how they know to show love. My biological dad was here & there and when my brother & I were with him, it was bad. I was forced to grow up so quickly to take care of myself and my brother So blessed that my mother remarried because my “step dad” is amazing!! ❤️

Hey Phillips family!! Loved the video. I think I was the first scout leader to take Braden camping, and I have to agree with Danny. It was 19 degrees overnight in the Anza Borrego Desert in January, backpacking along the Mormon Battalion Trail, and I was so worried about him having a good experience. He’ll have to tell you if it was or not, (haha) but I’ll say this- he didn’t complain one bit and handled it all like a champ. Miss you guys, and love to see you are all doing well!!

Jeff Bledsoe hey Jeff! We love and miss you guys too! So glad Braden is still in communication with your daughter (purposely left name out). Little side note: Braden has mentioned in more than one occasion that you have been one of the most respected leaders of his over the years.

I promise im not just saying this to be cute, lol, but your family is probably one of the most amazing families I have ever come across on KZbin. Danny, you are an incredible example of a supportive, loving Father. I always say that Family isn't always by blood, and you are a great example of that. Tina, even though you have gone through some very rough times in your life, you have raised all of your beautiful children with so much love, and it shows by their behaviours. Im in Canada, and Im single with no kids, and I know I will probably never be able to see your family in person, but if I ever do, I'd like to Thank You in PERSON for bringing such joy and happiness into my personal life by putting your beautiful family out on a platform like KZbin. I hope you know just how much of an impact you have on people, especially those in their mid 30's who question if its time to start a family of their own! Much love from Vancouver, Canada xoxoxoxoxo

Oh and I also wanted to add one more thing. One of the reasons why I admire your family and especially Danny, is because growing up I had a Step Mother who practically ruined my life by wanting to separate me from my Father. She hated the fact that my Father loved me, and always found excuses to start a fight between me and him. She had a son of her own, and the amount of difference she would put between me and her son was OUTRAGEOUS! Anyway, I can probably write a whole book about my life lol, but I wanted to mention this because I always wished she loved me as her own, or treated me with the respect I deserve. Seeing Danny with Braden & Ashlyn is so beautiful and I wish that kind of love and relationship for EVERYONE.

Thank you Braden for sharing something that's so personal. I know it couldn't have been easy. I'm not married, I'm raising my kids alone. I did everything I could to make sure they knew their dad until they decided that that's not what they wanted. I, still to this day, don't speak ill of him, but I am honest about him and the things he's done. I think it's important that kids are allowed to form their own opinions about their absent parent.

Danny, you are a 100% right. Kids and parents butt heads all the time. I did with my Mom. I never felt like she understood me. And, I was married for several years before I went to my Mom and asked her why she didn't love me. She said she did love me and I asked her why she never told us that she loved us. She did not know what to say. I said I tell my boys that I love them throughout their day. I never wanted them not to know. I think I shocked her with that sentiment. Needless to say, I am thankful that she finally broke through and started telling us that she loved us, but as she got cancer and we moved back home, I was able to take of her until her dying breath. She knew I lived her and vice versa. Sorry for being long winded. I guess I just missed her tonight. Thanks for listening.

We adopted all 3 of our kids and our youngest 2 are biological siblings we got at birth and our oldest we got at 3 years old We had to learn who he was and what kind of person he was and the love grew but to be like biological but at first it was all learning stages! Wow this video is good timing! We were taking at dinner that my sons best friend got a letter from his bio parents and he doesn’t want to read it and all our kids said there would be no need if they got one because we are our family and I have to say that made my heart happy! Do Braden and Ashlyn have step brother and/or step sisters? Cousins? Aunts or uncles? Do they know their other grandparents? Does the Biological family miss them? I'm adopted myself but I don't know either biological parent. A lot of ppl have told me to take a dna test to see if I can find relatives.
