Wow! I couldn't believe the quality and rarity of the finds I was pulling from the ground at my new massive permission and there is still so much more to be found at this amazing location. It was an absolute blast metal detecting and Finding America using my new Minelab Equinox 900 and the Coiltek 10X5 coil.

This is the perfect example of why this hobby is special. It might sound silly at first but if you see a person with a metal detector and observe them doing things the right way chances are very high you have yourself a solid individual. To appreciate the hobby takes traits I believe are not so common anymore.

Thank you so much for that very high praise and putting a truly family friendly channel out there has been a huge priority of mine since I first started Finding America. I really wanted a detecting channel that parents could always feel safe sitting down with their kids and never having to worry about the content. I wanted the younger generations to be exposed to this amazing hobby and also to be able to learn about and appreciate our country's amazing history as well. I'm so glad you all enjoy this channel! Oh Wow!!! How exciting for you, Greg, to hunt this treasure-filled permission! Better than Oak Island, and that's saying a lot. Love the variety of finds, but my favorite today by far is the beautiful Buffalo Bill Jr. Ring. If you do restore it, please wear it in a future episode. 🤗 I am praying you get some rain to soften the ground and make digging easier for you. Take care, see you soon!

I think the Yale key chain token was actually a key. The file that you found next to it makes me think someone may have been making a slug for an old coke machine. It is about the size of a nickel, the price of an old coke!
@FindingAmerica

Thanks Rick but this is definitely a purposely cast oval piece that has not been altered. It definitely wasn't part of a key although it was designed to look like the head of a Yale key. It's a very unusual piece and thanks for your help with it. ATB Greg

I have all the Minelab coils as well as all of the Coiltek coils for the Nox 600, 700, 800 and 900. The one I have been using the most lately is the 10X5 Coiltek. It is an awesome coil. Coiltek makes coils specifically for the Equinox models ( they fit the X-Terra as well) and you can find them at Kellyco and if you decide to get one there don't forget to use my FAUSA code at checkout! Hi, Greg. Another great episode! Kind of timely that you found the Heinz 57 bottle cap, as I just read an article yesterday about Heinz releasing a pickle flavored ketchup. Gross. 🤮😂 I appreciate being able to see the adjustable ring. I found one a week ago that was religious-based. Not sure if it’s God or a saint being featured, and not sure what type of metal it is, but that’s the first time I’ve ever seen/known that those types of rings existed. I have a Equinox 700 now and pretty much hunt for old coins, but I appreciate your videos because it’s nice to hear the number readings from the 900. Thanks for the education you give to us! - Wayne
