The Carnival in Brazil and especially the one in Rio De Janeiro is the world's most famous one!! It's a completely mad and insane experience that everyone needs to live at least once in his lifetime!!
However you need to be really careful for two things during the Brazilian carnival! The aggressive and super fast thieves that can attack you anytime and the aggressive male/female kissers!!
Unfortunately, during my 1st day in Rio's carnival, I got attacked from both!!

I spent a year in Russia. Learning the language and treating people like equals will having them treating you like their friend. All the other Americans treated them like less than. Expected the girls to like them because they were foreigners, paid no attention to interacting with the guys. I was always out doing stuff with people, while the other guys sat in their rooms except on weekends.
