How true all of this is. Groups are very toxic, at least quite often.

You are very early off and many have had setbacks from things you used so please don't knock groups that have helped thousands . Six weeks off is nothing . I hope you continue to heal but please don't knock people with many years of experience which you haven't got . The people who run this group have helped thousands over the years. You're new to this and obviously had an easy taper when many are bedridden . Please be careful as many are harmed by these supplements you are talking about .

Barbara you are a mod in Beating Benzos. I don't knock people with many years of experience, only your group and the way they treat people. Rosalind on the other hand made a post/comment recently knocking down benzo coaches (other than her of course) just because they DARE to try to make a living and ask for money for their services, or concluded that they don't know what they are talking about because they don't have qualifications (again - very broad statement that's not true to most of them - and remind me - what qualifications does ROSELINE AND DAVID hold? none related to mental health support, and not even functional medicine?). She even had the audacity to say that new coaches (again - very broad, fear mongering - everyone could be those 'new coaches'! beware!) were helped by HER and now they dare try to help people FOR MONEY - implying they are crooks!? As for your comments about 'surely having an easy taper' - you obviously didn't see the whole video or the other ones - I did NOT have an easy taper, not sure how you came to this conclusion. And 'Please be careful as many are harmed by these supplements you are talking about' is a again a broad statement that means nothing. I already talk about it in the supplements video - and tell people in it that if they do get a reaction from say magnesium they can supplement it in their food by eating lots of almonds and other magnesium rich foods.

Interesting that my comments in supporting this group and the vigilance of the Admins in removing trolls got deleted.

believe or not, I didn't delete your previous comments (youtube seems to do it for me?). Only the one you posted now, because you talked like A teenage bully's gang member. I could almost here the 'HA HA' from the Simpsons. If your previous comments were worse, youtube probably saved me the trouble. You obviously haven't watched the whole video, I suggest you do before you accuse people of wrong doings. I have receipts for everything I claim.

Just a quick update. A group that I actually like, "Benzo Recovery & Existence", and was hoping to later praise for having free speech, just blocked me. *Not surprisingly* - Barbara Bell is an Mod there as well. It's amazing, with all the suffering in our community, that people like you act the way you act - it's like playing politics in a hospital!

Confirmed (finally) with an Admin it was Barbara who blocked me and confirmed also that the two groups have nothing in common other than the mutual mod. This was a revenge act. Admin re-added me and apologized.

I don't delete any comments :/ sometimes some comments go to a review tab, but someone else complained and I didn't see it there. I suspect youtube itself deletes comments if they don't meet some criteria ? :O maybe using benzo names like they did in facebook? try to use code names instead

yeah I can't see any comments that are held for review. try to comment again and make sure you don't use keywords that might trigger an automatic deletion.

If your withdrawal was bad you would have appreciated the caution. AH Lots of people are setback from those supplements!!
@TaperingHelp3 ай бұрын
Look at the supplement video. Yes some people are very sensitive - but you can get a lot of things from food like vitamin D from eggs, vitamin Bs from nutritional yeast and plenty of magnesium from Almonds. It also really depends on your story.
@Benzosuzy2 ай бұрын
@@TaperingHelp exactly, but those things are not on that list and here you are attacking Rosalyn. You do not know what you’re talking about. The Benzo information coalition has been around a whole lot longer than you have.
@TaperingHelp2 ай бұрын
@@Benzosuzy Look at the list again! Rosalind actually has the nerve (no pun intended) to say that Magnesium - AN ESSENTIAL SUBSTANCE THAT THE BODY NEEDS FOR OVER 200 PROCESSES INCLUDING CNS HEALTH AND RECOVERY - Can SLOW DOWN recovery. When in fact it's ESSENTIAL for the body. Magnesium deficiency IS known to be a problem not even just with benzo patients but other drugs AND in the general population because of bad diet. When you start taking a supplement after you are very deficient you might have a reaction - thats the body getting something it didn't have a for a long time. Saying it 'interacts' with the benzo site and therefore 'might cause a problem' is like saying that water and oil interact with it too and therefore they can slow down recovery in my eyes. With all due respect the fact you have a reaction to something doesn't mean it's bad for you or your body doesn't need it. You need vitamin D, Vitamin Bs and Magnesium, and if you are low and have a bad reaction when taking them through a supplement then either take them through food (the better option always - tapering or not) or in an injection. Also - there should be a seperation between scenarios to really make any guideline - this whole mix of people who CTed a few times and are or were on other drugs, and people who took it and now tapering slowly and carefully before reaching tolerance, and the different benzos (they are not the same!). Roselind scared me about Relora that can actually reduce cortisol, it saved me one night, but she immediately said that it caused her a horrible setback - I remind you she CTed herself after decades of benzo use and had other, serious health problems. I was told by a benzo friend that the list was put by a nurse who basically MADE Dr Ashton to put it in. Ever since people copy and paste like it's the bible. The Ashton manual is old now, and considered by many to be WAY too fast. The list of substances was called 'sunbstances of concern' - not 'what not to take during taper'. That's Rosalind invention. Btw, in a private conversation, the person who is responsible for all of us even having the ashton manual in existance told me she was taking Magnesium Glycinate throughout (won't mention her full name as it was a private convo but if you know you know).

Thank you for your video. I also had a challenging experience with Rosalyn Jones and "Beating Benzos." Her approach feels controlling, and I've struggled significantly with Klonopin withdrawal, leading to reinstatement and ongoing issues like akathisia and paresthesia. The support in Facebook groups often lacks personalized advice, which can be harmful, especially since I have a background in functional medicine and compounding. I'm interested in the supplements you mentioned but didn't get to write them all down before the video was deleted. I appreciate your insights, and I hope we can advocate for better support for those dealing with these issues. ❤
