You know, that comment about MBT not even being a nice person holds more weight than you'd think. I once ran into MBT at a Walmart. I walked up to him and said, "I hate to bother you, but I love your content!" He looked at me and said "Oh really? Name every top 16 deck pilot from each Chalislime Monthly." I laughed it off, but he just kept staring at me, waiting for me to answer. I just apologized and moved on. Later I saw him buying some cards at the checkout, and the employee at the register couldn't scan the barcode on the packs for some reason. Joseph looked over at me and winked, then he kept saying "That means their free, right?" It was kind of funny the first time but he said it like 24 times, and he made her try to scan each pack individually instead of just having her try to scan one. Pretty sure he also used the self-checkout to weigh each pack, even though he went over to a register anyway.

This is my favorite deck ever, but it's sad to see how toxic some people are about it. MBT's Geist deck and plays were not very good, but whatever man. OTT is all about him sloppily dipping into different strategies for a little while, so it's fine. Also, Haunted Rock is bad and you shouldn't run it.

As a member of the altergeist community, I can say for absolute certain that not only was MBTs decklist for the archetype pretty lackluster, but also that any true Dzeef fan knows that altergeists really aren't good at the moment, and the video was enjoyable I accept the apology and would love to see a 10 minute testing on it And yes it really should have like half of the deck being flex spots Also, can I just point out the comments shown off in this video, I know Silq isn't that good at the moment but did they really think that haunted rock would somehow be better? you can do a lot turn 1, and combined with pookery maybe they are able to actually set up well turn 1, but you have to open faker and that isn't exactly the most likely, well, hmm, pookery, haunted rock, meluseek seems pretty good, but I'm not entirely sure what the end board accomplishes aside from a spell/trap negate, I guess it does help with closing games too, and haunted rock would absolutely be better than rivalry here due to the format, so who knows also, just the fact MBT thought memorygant was a link 3, imagine if yugioh players actually read cards

As a former Altergeist-only player myself, watching your OTT was excruciating. Not because you couldn't pronounce names, or because you misplayed, or because your list was butt, or because you're an "unfunny stupid idiot" who is garbage at Yugioh, but because you reminded me there was a time where I was super cringe and played nothing but Geist and refused to build another deck.
