May be the 1st reactor I've seen catchin' every bar!! I grew up on Bone Thugs, 3-6, a Tribe Called Quest, KRS-1, Dilated Peoples, Blackalicious, Jurrasic-5, etc., so I it was breezy for me as well.. however, my dude's into metal & psychedelic rock, he doesn't dig much hip-hop @ all, so he tried to compare Ren to some new school mumble rap, & I had to come correct. Ren's way more versatile & far more unique than the youngin's presently topping charts & shit, so I'm glad dude's trending, he deserves it, especially since the man does it all himself, from writing the lyrics to producing it, including any/all instrumentation necessary to do so--it's all Ren. ✌❤🌞

Ren has been extremely sick for years. Was misdiagnosed for almost 10 years (I think). Finally he was diagnosed with Lyme disease. He is currently in Canada getting treatment

Maaaan, your face when Ren switched it up and dropped into that triple time rhyme scheme..! Surprised you got the trainer reference 👍🏻 kudos to you on that one brutha. There were a few UK specific references in there, like Primark. It's a high street clothes retailer that's kinda just above basic budget. Then there was Django Reinhardt - he was a classical/jazz guitarist that was big in the 70s/80s (my dad had one of his albums on vinyl when I was a kid). This shows you where some of Ren's guitar influence comes from, handed to him by his parents. Ren's Mum was a drama and music teacher when he was younger. His Dad was a teacher too. They had a very much hippy influence and took him to lots of music festivals in the UK when he was young. This also shows you why Ren's musical style is so eclectic, because he was exposed to so many genres at an influential age. Apparently his house was littered with vinyl too, so he had lots to listen to.
