Ren is what happens when rap from America makes its way to the UK, mix it with all the great guitarists, add in the gigantic raggae scene in the UK, and then Eminem comes out. 20 years later you get a kid that had to go through A BUNCH of shit, almost died, wanted to die, then started to get better. Ren. Possibly the most important artist of the last decade.

Ren is a beast. With lyrics, delivery, and beats. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are a lot of rappers out there who would love to get him to produce a beat for them. My interpretation: Some people learn to see better because of the darkness in their lives, and some are knocked down by it. Not sure if that's what Ren had in mind, but he said he leaves all interpretations open to his listeners.
