I thought that this Clown add-on was useless, but it turns out that this isn't true at all. The Fingerless Parade Gloves actually give a noticeable boost that can make a big difference!

Yea you gotta be careful of people that say they are mains for the most part, and have several thousand posts on the forums. I’ve really had nothing but bad experiences with these types of players that are…extremely vocal, and less show. And there is a perfect reason they don’t show much, cause when they do it’s a disaster. From what I can tell, it’s just a term people use for how much Bp they spend on a specific character, not necessarily any skill or knowledge correlation.

There’s one really cool thing that I figured out while using parade gloves that doesn’t seem do be possible without it. Pretty much what it is is that if you’re on rpd you go up to the top of the stairs in the middle/main lobby and you look almost wherever you want on the ceiling in the main lobby and you can throw a bottle and it will actually hit the ceiling and cover a good 1/3rd or 1/2 of the entire main lobby area and I’m guessing this is further increased with the addon that increases the size of the gas area.

That sounds cool as heck, but keep in mind that the further you spread a bottle the more gaps that there will be between the individual small gas clouds. The Bottle of Chloroform is good for that playstyle since it makes them bigger.

I honestly cannot play Clown without this add-on anymore. The reduced angle alone makes hitting bottles a lot easier for me. The extra speed on top of that is just fantastic.

5:18 an easy way to predict whether you make a hook or not is to keep count of how many times a survivor moans. Generally, a survivor will moan (or grunt) 9 times on your shoulder before wiggling free.

When I started properly maining Clown about 2 or 3 years ago I started playing with this add on quite a bit and was under the impression that it isn't as bad as most people would think, though I never said anything because we know how the DbD community can be. Was also wondering when you will revisit this add on and play with it more so you can build a better understanding on it. Glad you did it!

I love the gloves, less for the speed and more for the throw angle. It makes hitting bottles much easier and gives the survivors less time to react. I was definitely a staple in all my builds while I was learning clown and it just make an interesting change to playing him. It was also really fun to go for orbitals almost cross map just for the purpose of scaring survivors.

Wow I was completely unaware of this. Haven’t used this add on since the first version of it. I got 900 of these now I’ll have to try it out. I’ve used clown so much without it, I can see that the 15 degree decrease in angle is gunna be a downside for me to throw up and over loops like I usually do to strategize. I see this being extremely useful on painful indoor maps such as Lery’s, Hawkin’s Lab, RPD, and The Game. Any other map, I’d rather use another add on instead.

I use the gloves with instadown bottle on RPD and Hawkin, great for momentum, strong with Surge. Especially good for archives and dailies when i run out of ether and bleach

I just LOVE discordance. Higher MMR survs just don’t see it coming bc it’s not meta. But at that point, you know what gen for sure you need to defend, but it’s probably worth your time defending, and that there are at least two survivors if not more in that area

@@certifiedmenace238Other information perks and aura reading perks are just more valuable to higher MMR players. Tracking generator progress specifically isn’t worth a perk slot over knowing where a survivor is. Some perks would include Nowhere to Hide, Ultimate Weapon, or Lethal Pursuer.

I literally always use this add-on even before the rework, though it did only work for reloading faster back then, cause I just don't like the arch of Clown's bottles, I know there's skill to it but personally don't want to invest a ton of time in Clown when I can can standardize to function similar to the other range killers.

I'm giving a tip and also react to all "adding a thousand pages on the guide", but Arinad reveals that Harshton is actually pretty good with the sooner activation, so both together could really be good in indoor map : footing fast bottle without charging around corners to get the effet immediatly. That's all!

I think it depends of the map, on RPD or midwich harshington mighty be better, but on tighter indoor map like Léry's or Hawkins it's the gloves' time to shine ! Also I think that with the feather you can go even faster, but I think that it will be a bit overkill X)
