@l4rryh00verftw3 жыл бұрын
I think cooper is good enough to play d2, maybe even D1. I thought he was better than wicher honestly. Crisp route running, reliable hands, little bit of length, and always seemed to find open spaces. He'll regret not playing because he had the potential to go very far. If he grew a few more inches and put on more muscle idk man the league wouldn't be out of the question.

"DO NOT FUMBLE THE FREAKIN' BALL!" Coaches have so many wonderful opportunities to walk the walk of what they preach, yet time after time fail through example. As a retired high school and college educator and coach I've yet to mention the word win. I worked diligently to exercise only positive phrases and comments in my vernacular. When coaches use negative words such as don't stop quit they are simply putting those negative images in the minds of their student-athletes.
@Deontelewis8463 жыл бұрын
So in that position what are you saying to one of your guys ? I’m asking for the insight
@humbledriver25363 жыл бұрын
Replacing the word don't and the mental picture of fumbling with... Squeeze the ball Keep it high and tight 2 hands on the ball 5 point coverage Those were examples I used when I coached

@humbledriver25363 жыл бұрын
@@calife9622 The greatest thrills and accomplishments were presented to me by my student-athletes. Is to see their progressive development in positive character day in and day out while recognizing their scholastic achievements. And to Follow their journey To higher education and for many their additional athletic opportunities. The student athletes I was privileged to coach were rewarded for their efforts at the end of the year in not only putting 2 football state championship trophies in the school's trophy case, but the baseball championship trophy as well. But more important than then those achievements for those teams was the constant construction and molding creating the foundation of positive character into who they would grow to become.
@nathansarfo17683 жыл бұрын
@@humbledriver2536 man I think high school coaches have a duty to mold players into hood members of society. However, they also have to win. You’re talking ridiculous sometimes players need the harsh words to get their asses going. This is coming from a high school player rn
