I’ll just be the first to say.. special teams is an ESSENTIAL part of the game in college. ESPECIALLY In division one. Just from the 15 minutes of watching this, no wonder the players couldn’t buy in. You can’t coach college the exact same way in high school. Now I’m starting to see why they went 2-9. Everyone isn’t a college coach and that’s okay. He got a taste of the next level and he realized that it wasn’t for him

I don’t know what happens in the future but one thing is for sure if players don’t 100% buy in to a coaches way then the team won’t be successful. Especially if the culture/old way of this program is not a winning mentality. They got to give this coach a chance he was very successful in the past (even though it was in high school level), still…. Yes, there is risk in everything and they need to just accept the risk and give it their best shot

Coach Kelly is a great coach. He had no business coaching at Presbyterian, they’ve historically been unsuccessful at football. Special teams are an essential part in college football but pres has been a terrible team for years. He would’ve had more success if he had coached at another school
