Eivor is just an amazing singer/songwriter. I would recommend ANY of her live performances, she's the best live singer I've ever heard.

Welcome to the world of Eivør. The greatest musical talent you have never heard about (something us in the know just do not understand at all). You started out in a non standard way with Eivør for a reactor (which is refreshing!). While Trøllabundin and Falling Free are absolutely fantastic performances the are the ones everybody are reacting to. Lets see if we can keep you off the beaten track :-) She has some lesser know absolute jewels. Since you are also doing reactions to tracks without associated videos then I would recommend listening to: "Eivør - Mín Móðir" "Eivør Pálsdóttir - Krákan" (From her Jazz inspired phase) Videos: "Eivør - Patience" "Eivør - Í Tokuni" Live: "Eivør - Truth (Live at Studio Bloch)" "Eivør performs Gullspunnin from "í Luftini" "Eivør - True Love | Sofar Los Angeles" "EIVØR - Surrender | Sofar London" "THE LAST KINGDOM | Eivør & John Lunn - Lívstræðrir (live from home)" All these are flat out beautiful songs. But basically go for anything from her. Especially the live performances are outstanding.

If you ever get the chance to watch Eivør and her band live, please do. She is a beast of a live vocalist and musician.

Great great song! Verð mín is the original faroese version, and just better but the english version is great too😊 How refreshing to finally hear someone react to some of her hidden treasures apart from Falling free live in Torshavn and Trøllabundin live in Norway. Please don’t react to those two in near future. Plenty of options already on internet for anybody searching for reactions to those songs. Great reaction anyway, and yes! this song does touch your soul. May I suggest Eivør - Remember me, if you really want to be touched to your innerbone😊 Anyways cheers and have a pleasant weekens

👍👍👍 I would suggest you watch the video called "#ISLANDROADS presents EIVØR". As someone wrote in a comment on it - This is probably the most beautiful thing on youtube. It's dangerous to listen to Eivør without being prepared. The impression can be so strong that you cannot control it. I once heard the Faroese version of this song... Eivør has written a lot of these songs that start - and you start to drop of tears, and don't know why... True Love. Far Away. Elskaði. Snowflakes Within. Green Garden. Sorgblídni. Rura barnið. Even child song called Hlusta nú. There is something very special in her voice...

At first I really thought of Kate Bush the first time I listened to Eivør Pálsdóttir's True Love. However I really believe Eivør will be so much more in her career! Yep! She's the best!!

The voice of Eivor break me each time and give me tears in a heartbeat. You're not alone 🤟 tx for the react

Thank you so much for doing this reaction! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Please also consider reacting to “Reflektor” by Arcade Fire. Its a completely different mood. But, David Bowie did some of the vocals, and I think that speaks for itself.

Usually when music is so emotionally powerful, it seems like they're using the "GOD FREQUENCY"... 963 Hz. Standard tuning around the glove is 440 Hz but 432 Hz is much clearer, eases the mind. There's actually tests done on this and u can physically hear a difference, there are many on KZbin to listen to the same song in diff frequencies. I'm convinced Lana Del Rey is already using 432 Hz because her music is all so wonderful. The elite came up with 44p Hz because it's horrible compared to 432 or 528... it opens the pineal gland. Real stuff I never thought I'd know about or believe but the test is amazing to hear

First time I heard this song (or of the existence of Eivør), I was tripping on acid with some mates, this song completely blew me out of the water. I listened to it and remixes of it for days and days at end... There's something so pure about her voice and the way she sings, it hits you right in the feels.

She is magical and has brought tears to my eyes many times -- It dosent seem to matter what language she sings in -- So many songs to choose from her but I would have you watch one of her live performances -- she is even more incredible when you see how heart felt she fills the room with her beauty --- Try this one Gullspunnin (spun in gold) -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKGViaGLhM2Be5o

It’s a silent E so you say Ivor will a tad bit of an e but not completely the I 👍
@Geoskan2 жыл бұрын
In Faroese, we pronounce the diphthong "ei" as "aj" (rhyming with American English "eye"), so technically, the "e" is not silent at all. Eivør is pronounced: Aj-vør, not I-vør.
