I was frustrated with Hoya waymaniae and then I got the right one

I was a bit frustrated after growing Hoya waymanie for couple of years and not seeing those blooms - especially because of the weird growth. Turns out, I just needed the right one to see the blooms in less than a year!

I tie up hoyas with such strong stems using the (loose) twine method. This is similar to wiring bonsais, which of course also works with Hoyas. The twine method is often seen on mass market Hoya australis. However, I still have to do this with my two Hoya waymaniae clones.

Yes! The flower is big! Maybe size of lacunosa (giant) or bigger even
