There is a game called "World of Guns: Gun Disassembly" that is a bit like this, in that it walks you through both limited field-stripping and complete teardowns of various firearms. It is one of those annoying "freemuim" model items though - it can cost you quite a bit to get all the content, even if the program can be downloaded for free. And in the interest of this being a teaching moment - there are multiple types of rust though the red flaking/dusty stuff is the most common. Its slow oxidation of the metal (or put another way - rust is really slow fire, or fire is exceptionally fast rusting). Bluing metal forms a chemically different sort of rust and since its used up all the free metal on the surface, the material can't absorb more oxygen and rust in a more destructive way. Think if you char a piece of wood, then extinguish it - you have a harder time lighting the carbonized parts. Basically its a protective coating. (Parkerized is similar, but uses molten salt to create the coating)

@Game Dev you should have this posted at the range or somewhere incase this game inspires some one to join the community IRL 4 RULES OF GUN SAFTEY Treat all guns as if they are always loaded. Never let the muzzle point at anything that you are not willing to destroy. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have made the decision to shoot. Be sure of your target and what is behind it.

3 Rules. You broke one rule into two for some weird reason.
@mr.dynomite88902 жыл бұрын
@@brandondavis7777 No, there are four, and those are them. The "Be sure of your target, and what's behind it" refers to not shooting if there is something within the line of fire, other than the target, and backstop. For example, you wouldn't shoot if your friend is downrange or beyond the target, it is very easy to miss, or for the projectile(s) to pass through the target, especially in a hunting scenario, or defensive altercation. You are accountable for every bullet that leaves the gun until it is completely stopped. It may seem repetitive, however it is referring to something different.

Firmly grasp the firearm and that safety will be released. 7:17 Bluing tanks create the signature gun-metal color (blueish gray/black), and is a type of beneficial rust that prevents the formation of regular red rust. Blue rust is good, red is bad. 14:20 skeet shooting is a form of training/sport simulating hunting migratory birds as they come in for landing/takeoff. That speed is pretty accurate. Idk if it is modeled in game, but the skill of the sport is based on properly leading your target by shooting into its flight path, not directly at the target. Editing as I watch
