I was in an ELDEN RING TOURNAMENT, where EVERYONE was CHEATING

Would love to see the antithesis of this set up here, a tournament that distills everything back down to core fundamentals. Where only specific meta are allowed; essentially scrubbing out all the unbalanced shite - no PGS, no BHS, no bleed, no broken weapon arts/AoWs - whatever allows a test of learned skill, situational awareness, and contextual applicability of strategy and tactics. Might be too boring for some, but I think it would be interesting to see. Now how you determine all the constraints is the hard part, some are obvious, like BHS, but others may be contentious. Sadly, I think, that all but pretty much eliminates caster builds from these tournaments, but if there's anything these high level competitive tourneys have shown us is that builds don't matter; it's all meta, and it's no wonder we don't see pure caster builds in these echelons of competition.

Tbh id say that the standard ladder tourneys are probably the most balanced as it gets. Psgs gets limited to 67 poise, so that it cant trade into powerstanced weapons, and all the broken AOWs are banned. Lightroll is banned. Its actually fantastic. But any metagame will develop when you have rules. For ladder, ps coded swords is the meta. If you limited that powerstanced was not allowed, (anything) offdagger would be next. Its just how it goes.

All i was watching was some guys beating every single player with random builds and it was obvious they are on a completely different level. @@pirga19 naw chase is great, hes got solid fundamentals. I ran into him a few times a little over a year ago and he squashed me like a bug. But more importantly he has a good attitude toward pvp, which i think is the most important thing that he has to teach

But if hes doing a weapon showcase or a themed invasion video, theres not alot of sense in including a clip of getting ganked by 3 players that effectively 1 shot him. But losing doesnt make you a bad player. Its just part of the game

Infant head glitch. You go to 0 fp, crouch, eat a bolus, then use infant head. Infant head wont work because you have no fp, but it will cause the particle effect. Stack it a bunch of times for maximum effect. Kjell hid himself in the world where the casters had no idea he was even there, and set it up to be ready for when our match started.
