Ive not been more excited about a young player coming through at Leeds since alan smith. Absolutely love this level headed, beast of a player. Nearly a club legend at 17. 😍😍😍😍

I keep seeing these seasoned Championship players getting shoved off the ball, brushed aside, easily dispossessed and always a great pass as a cherry on top. The tenacity is impressive. The engine room. But it's the brain- I've been watching footy a while, Archie Gray initiates movement and play seconds ahead of most players. He plays with time itself. Phenomenal.

Archie seems very level headed with his feet firmly on the ground, look how well he's doing at 17 the lad is going to be a world beater within 5 or 6 years. Always fantastic to see Dom Matteo & particularly as he's looking so well after such a long period of serious health problems. Matteo is still 1 of my favourite ever Leeds players and as a Captain & Club Captain. He was definitely a premier League down to earth footballer .

Is there a competition between Bridges and Matteo to see who can talk about themselves the most on these podcasts.

To be fair mate that’s why they’re there. To relate to the player on the aspect of being a football player. I get this is a light hearted comment but thought Dom kept it all pretty relevant to watch Archie was saying
@andycross83749 ай бұрын
@Cranndaddy If you listen to the full version on the podcast, Dom doesn't shut up. I get what you're saying but it's too much. I'd rather they let Matt interview on his own.

Dom hasn't had it easy. He's Leeds and helped us roll teams in the UEFA CL. Dom Matteo is like a f**king war hero, he's seen glory and defeat and stared death in the face. I for one will do what's due, and listen to every word the man has to say. I like his excitability and jolly demeanour, his stories and input. To me, he has the respect of a returning soldier from the Somme, only wearing a bloodstained ripped Leeds top, missing teeth and all for the pride of Leeds United. 🫡😘

@burtlangoustine1 I know he hasn't had it easy. But in an Archie Gray interview , I want to hear Archie Gray.

It is awesome to see a young player like Archie doing so well. Even better that he is a local lad. Really enjoy watching him play. He is playing against guys, stronger and more experienced, but able to hold his own. I really hope he will be at Leeds his whole career. The business of modern football might intervene. Which is sad.

Dom taking over from Bridges on the talking about himself front 😄 I get that it's a good way of reflecting and comparing to the current player, but it just amuses me how quickly they go into it.

Andy Gray feeling Dom’s hands on his back as the number 22 drives past ….. 😂
@garyhillman49939 ай бұрын
He s got that gray gene can go past players like they’re not there and never have a foul in their body. I don’t remember Eddie ever getting a yellow card in his 12-15 years as a player it wasn’t in his psychi, Frank too and he was a left back their just pure footballers Imagine this kid when he s 22/23 he s gonna be some player esp if he can add goals

I tuned in to watch an interview of Archie Gray, not Dom matteo lol. I was also hoping Archie's answer to the question, who did you admire most as a pl;ayer he would have said "Eddie Gray of course". :)

Can't beat an interview when the interviewers talk more than the interviewee. Stick to just the lad on the left of screen next time, don't need more than one interviewer (as bad as sky sports needing 2 commentators and 4 pundits)
