Marcelo Bielsa took every Leeds player's game to a level they never knew possible. Stuart Dallas was the finest example of this. Stuart could virtually play in any position asked of him. He become indispensable to how Bielsa's masterplan at Leeds unfolded. Stuart was a warrior and gave it his all in a Leeds jersey. He lived by the principle "side before self". It was devastating that his injury literally ended his career. He will always be considered a Leeds United legend.

I am a firm believer that any challenge which results in an opponent being withdrawn due to that challenge, should be an immediate red card offense. I am also a believer that the recovery time should also be the duration of that players suspension. That challenge from Grealish ended Stuarts playing career. Regardless of whether Grealish meant to end Stuarts career, regardless of whether he was booked for the challenge, he should have been sent off. I recall the game the season before, when Cooper was sent off for a challenge, curiously on another City player, who continued to play the game afterwards, possibly even completed the match. Regardless of Coopers intent, he was sent off for a 'dangerous challenge'. In the same match Fernandinho, made a challenge on Raphinha, which resulted in Raphinha's immediate withdrawal, and at a later stage that day it was revealed Raphinha suffered a blood clot in his leg which 'could' have ended his career, because of the threat of amputation.... yet Fernandinho was permitted to continue playing in the next game and onwards. Yes he was booked.... but seriously..... he could have ended a career that day with either malicious intent, or clumsiness. Is there an excuse for that? If a player being genuinely removed due to an injury caused resulted in a Red Card offense, tackles and challenges would be taken more seriously by opponents.

The best thing for human beings, especially if they've been drugged as stuart was, is silence. A guy telling drugged/in pain stuart he's not going to play again activates the reactive part of the mind and can and often does negatively effect cellular healing. The medical handling could be perfect but the wrong words spoken near someone experiencing pain and unconsciousness can screw the pooch.
