I Was NOT Expecting This From Noora! | *SKAM* Season 2 Episode 1 Reaction!

A pretty crazy season in many ways. Controversial to some fans because of the Noora-William dynamic, but I think it's important and it brings up many issues that young people are facing these days.

season 2 is definitely my favorite. it has important topics. noora isn't always perfect either and you'll see william and noora have many similarities.

I think that’s what I’m most excited about! The imperfections of a “perfect” character being unveiled and unpacked. It gives the show and character a sense of realism which is quite beautiful.

This season is quite heavy at times and controversial for many but I think it explores some really important topics and teaches some lessons. It also creates an open dialogue and gets viewers talking and thinking about everything that happens which I think is important. It’s good to see stuff you might not agree with or feel conflicted about and every single character in Skam comes from very different and complex backgrounds so how they handle things and the journeys they go on are varied. The writers do an amazing job though of fleshing out the characters and showing/explaining why they react or handle a situation the way they do even if we don’t agree with it. As the season progresses you will start to learn more about Noora’s life and struggles that she doesn’t show many people. Also good to remember how very young all these characters are and young people don’t always make the best choices all the time or know exactly how to navigate difficult things so they just learn by surviving and going through it.

I agree, I think it’s a beauty in these characters being so layered and authentic to real life people. I am looking forward to see how this season unpacks this! And I seen Veronica Mars before maybe an episode or two back when I was waaaay younger. I just don’t remember what it was about so Ima definitely have to check it out again lol

@@wwhn definitely consider Veronica mars, especially now that your a little older you might enjoy/get it more. It’s about a girl whose day runs a private detective business and she ends up helping out and solving all kinds of mysteries while also being a high school student in a town in CA that is very divided into the haves and the have nots. The characters are so well written, the dialogue is really funny, lots of twists and turns and drama. The fan base even funded an entire movie by donating to kickstarter.

omg I'm so excited for this!! Season 2 is really good! William is definitely not the best character. I hated him so much in the first season and I was skeptical coming into season 2 because of him, but I ended up enjoying this season so so much! Now I think I'm just indifferent towards him? Idk like, I don't love nor hate him, he's just there. But Noora is indeed a queen. Her story and character were interesting enough for me to just look past William and enjoy the season for other aspects like some of the topics they discuss later on. I love her. And yeah, Eskild is not her brother, they're roommates. Your reactions make my day, seriously. Excited for the next ones! 💕

I don't get why people spread so much hate against William tho... I mean yes, he does some questionable shit but so does everybody else in this show, people just notice his actions more clearly because of his already judged role as a fuckboy and most famous guy in school. He has a lot of depth in his character and most of the details aren't even shown because this isn't his season after all. I think that the beauty of this show is that even though these characters make a lot of mistakes, they usually don't have bad motives behind the actions, just bad ways of portraying them. And in my opinion, all of them learn from their mistakes as well! But love the show and your reactions!🥰

I do not care for William. I am half way through season 2 and he is irking me to the max. I think I may have been more into their dynamic when I was younger, but I don't see what Norra sees in him besides attraction, and that is not enough to carry the whole season for me.

That's kind of the whole point. Noora seems so strong and independent, but she's finding herself falling in love with a person she tries to hate. But the season is about more than that as well. He's controversial, but that's how real life is as well.

@@rowaystarco She loves him? She barely knows him. He hasn't shown any depth. It's sad. Like watching a good friend get bogged down by a crumby partner. It isn't enjoyable or engaging to watch despite the realism. This just does not work for me. I'm loving every other characters storyline this season except for Noora's.
