Coming out of Lizard Creek right after dark last summer. Turned left to head towards the dam and almost ran right in to a pontoon, not a light on the boat.... When I told him his lights were off, he mumbled a few words, put his beer down and fumbled around trying to find the switch. I love Gaston for all it has to offer but it has changed a ton in the past 10 years. Used to love night fishing out there, paranoid to do it now. throw a couple of those spot in the live well, you wont be disappointed! Tore them up a few weeks ago, I had heard they were good eating so we kept a few. One of the better fish I've had!

It pains me to know all my friends that are in some sort of bass fishing competition end up spending $60-70k on a boat, $10-15k in electronics and they all end up 15 ft from shore…drifting in the current with a 300hp outboard and 47 poles all rigged up. God bless America and our obsession with chasing fish. Cause pussy is sooo much more expensive!
