When I was a child at Seattle Pride, I saw multiple grown men with their genitals out and it has stuck with me till this day. Since then I haven’t been to a pride parade and I don’t plan on attending one until this over-sexualization in the community is put to an end. I would love to go to pride as an adult and as a bisexual woman but it really makes me uncomfortable seeing adults with their genitalia out in front of minors and not having any sort of repercussions. It kind of annoyed me when the liberals tried to claim that does not happen as often as it actually does. You were literally the reason I even decided to watch that video lol! So true! I was an international student to Philadelphia when i saw pride for the first time. I was absolutely shocked to my core to see naked dudes and women with their stuff hanging out. I never went to another one after that - initially bc of the discomfort but now just bc it sounds boring (I'm not so squeamish abt nakedness anymore). However i do remember being shocked and having everyone tell me to stop being such a prude. I hate that we're just told to stfu and be cool with it. Had i known in adv that pride would be like that, I'd have just avoided it no worries but it was advertised as family friendly and then i had to see something i didn't want to see

I've watched a lot of Jubilee videos and this is the first time from what I've seen they've said don't talk about sex. It was more out of context/inappropriate in other videos too. I think it's also an extremely important aspect to discuss personal opinions on Trans rights/identity and how that plays into sexuality as well.

This is why it becomes a discussion about where transphobia begins and ends for people and is it even transphobic because that's also different per person. For example, for you when it's trans man, is it no longer bisexual and becomes gay depending on if they have bottom and top surgery or only bottom surgery or does it not matter what they've gotten done physically they are still a woman to you? That answer is different for everyone and is a huge part of why that answer felt loaded to fail no matter what, because they should've each been able to say what their own definition was BEFORE that question was even asked. Which was wrong on Jubilee.

One of my main criticisms of jubilee is that they clearly have bias. Not just this specific topic but other videos definitely. But most lefties won’t admit that unfortunately. Was it all about self-sabotage and showcasing today's feminism, or was it just straight-up criticizing women? They started off talking about feminism and then veered into discussing the trans community. With people like Barrett and Ryan, their intentions are really really good and I respect them a lot for their empathetic support of marginalized people - BUT it can go too far when they start to show contempt for fellow members of their minority group who haven't personally felt persecuted or victimized for their minority status (or who have overcome or made peace with being persecuted). This contempt is a sign that the victim identity has actually become TOO wrapped up in their identity as a minority, and so they project negatively onto group members who don't identify with that same sense of victimhood. This is why I really want to give props to Ryan, who caught himself in his contempt and realized that it wasn't a productive or helpful way of interacting with the disagreers in his minority group.

I wish it was brought up about how we made it illegal for children to drink, smoke, or get a tattoo, yet those men were ok with children disfiguring their bodies for life. Once their 18, they can choose what they do with their life, but I firmly stand behind, Mario? On this one. Puberty isn't fun for anyone and is the most delicate state of our lives, imo. The right-wing bill Mario helped pushed wants to remove parents and doctors from having a say - he thinks HE and the politicians should make the choices for trans kids heathcare. For example, someone under 21 cannot get into a bar or club because they need to show security their IDs. I love Mario, he's made valid points when it comes to transitioning kids. None of you guys will never understand what it means to be a tomboy and then growing out of it. If I was a kid growing up in this time and transition into a boy and then later on realize I made a huge mistake. Im pretty sure I would've became suicidal. Was looking for your reaction video as soon as I saw that Jubilee topic drop! I totally agree with your experience in comparison with how I saw it in the video. I felt it confusing too that the liberals would say "You need to think about that small population and let them have a voice" to when the legislation got brought up then they were arguing "You can't cater to the small population" (I'm paraphrasing on both but that is what I generally heard). What struck me was Ryan dismissing these cases as "anecdotal". People like this are always crying "Listen" but they don't listen to those of us with years of experience, they listen to the "expert" who visited for an hour and wrote a biased essay or projected stats that may not even be accurate. I’m a trans man also and I guess I have an odd opinion on this, as I don’t completely agree with either side. I don’t agree that a gay man rejecting a trans man is transphobic because everyone is entitled to their preferences. It’s no different than the gay men that have no fats or fems on their profiles. On the other hand, I personally believe that being gay, straight, or bisexual is based on more than just genitals. Men and women have other distinctive characteristics that play a huge role in attraction. You develop attraction to someone before you even see their genitals and to suggest that a gay man isn’t really gay if he’s comfortable with getting with a trans man is simply disrespectful. If you’re a man and you only experience attraction towards men then you’re gay. Not caring about the contents of the other guy’s pants doesn’t make you less gay. I also find it very off putting that someone would say they’re a gay man, but they would consider getting with a trans woman simply because of genitals. That is beyond messed up. You’re essentially considering a trans woman the same thing as a drag queen and that’s just wrong. A trans woman is still a type of woman, so being open to being with one means you’re not a gay man. If you don’t wanna say you’re bisexual then at least be accurate and say you’re attracted to people with dicks. That way you’re describing your preference without invalidating someone else’s identity.

I agree there are some occasions that there could be attraction toward someone regardless of their genitals but does it sustain the test of time? That's where is based on the individuals and their actual inner preference (if you know what I mean). I do stand with my statement and don't think is disrespectful at all that's why I said "with me" If a "gay" man wants to have sex with me I know he has a more open-minded bisexual preference and there is nothing wrong with that and I do pass and live as a male, regular male life outside of my sex life.
