I Was Relying On Being "Sinless" For Salvation Instead Of Faith In JESUS. God Rebuked Me. Testimony

Hey brothers and sisters! I have asked God to bless this video and use it according to His Will. I’ve asked Him to use this video to set other Christians FREE from the bondage of legalism. Legalism is not limited to keeping ceremonial laws. ANYTHING that WE DO to secure righteousness in God’s sight in order to gain salvation is legalism. We all know that Satan has crept into the church by promoting and perpetuating the prosperity Gospel and progressive Christianity. However, he has also infiltrated the church on the opposite side of the spectrum...by adding to the Gospel of our salvation. Many Christians are waking up to the lie of legalism and being SET FREE in Jesus Christ (John 8:36). God’s Word tells us that there is NO ONE who is righteous, no - not one! (Romans 3:10). Also, 1 John 1:8 tells us that NONE are without sin - except Jesus Christ. The only righteousness we have is the righteousness that has been imputed on us spiritually by the physical death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 9:30, 3:22, 10:4). Even the fruit we bear in the faith does not make US righteous... because we can never be righteous in God’s eyes. The fruit we bear is the result of Jesus Christ living in us! God helped me to see this truth by seeking Him and His Word concerning perfect righteousness. For years I have been striving for perfect righteousness so that I could “make it” to Jesus. The Gospel of my salvation did not truly take root until recently when God opened my eyes to the truth that had always been there. God tells us in His Word that Jesus already accomplished our salvation on Calvary 2,000 years ago! Jesus Christ is the narrow path - and this is why FEW people find the narrow path (John 14:6). So many souls do not understand what faith in Jesus Christ truly is. Faith in Jesus Christ is not simply head knowledge of Him and what He did for us. It’s not “working hard for Jesus to gain salvation.” Faith in Jesus is TRUSTING in Him what He did for you on the cross. It’s TRUSTING that He alone can save you - and that you are hopeless without His sacrifice. Even IF you live a morally “good” life, your righteousness is not what saves you. If this were the case, Christ is dead in vain (Galatians 2:21). Jesus Christ is our perfect lamb that covers all sin! If you sin, do not condemn yourself or abandon your faith! Instead, take your sin to the cross where it has already been crushed, and ask God for forgiveness. He is faithful to forgive! (1 John 1:9). “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. Jesus is coming back SO SOON! Be READY by being FAITHFUL! What work do we do to attain salvation? Jesus answers this question in John 6:29: “This is the WORK of God, that you BELIEVE in him whom he has sent.” God bless you all! Love you guys so much! True joy happens when we realize that we can’t save ourselves and we put our full faith and trust that Jesus paid it all at the cross. At this point you can now start your spiritual walk. Edmark Lowell delos Santos I will try to answer your question. Firstly, you are confusing two different terms. Repentance and confession. Repentance means to have a change of mind, confession is what we do after we sin…… We confess to the Lord our sins so that we can remain in fellowship with him. The Bible never tells us to repent of our sins. The term repent and repentance is in fact used in the Bible but the term repent of your sins is not in the Bible. I also sense that you have a concern about false conversion. People who say they are saved but are constantly sinning. Paul tells us to check our selves and make sure we are in the faith. Throughout the years I have noticed that people who are concerned with false converts actually have an overwhelming fear inside of themselves that they could possibly be one otherwise why do they keep sinning? What Paul meant by that is that he wants to make sure that you believe in the gospel. If you in fact believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that he died for all your sins and you realize that you are in fact a sinner in need of a Savior, then you are in fact saved. It is a simple as that… You cannot be plucked out of God’s hand. Paul himself was even frustrated with his flesh, he knew that he had to battle his flesh daily even though he was a new creature in Jesus Christ ( born again). Look at it in this manner: When we believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ then we are born again… Saved, sealed and sanctified until the day of redemption…… Nothing can separate us from the Father and we are his forever. This is what I like to call, “an event“. Now, after being saved we come to the “process“ of discipleship. Not everyone’s discipleship is the same, we all have different strongholds in our life and different problems. We need to read our Bibles and maintain our fellowship with the Lord in order to get through our issues with sin. We cannot get through our sin issues without God’s help, I cannot over emphasize that enough. When we have problems in our life, God always wants us to turn to him as the first and only solution… We need to put our faith and trust in God and not ourselves. When a Christian fails to walk in fellowship with the Lord, this is detrimental to his well-being on earth (We reap what we sow and lose fellowship with the Lord) and he can lose eternal rewards as well. A good example of this is in the book of First Corinthian’s. It is brought to Paul’s attention that a fellow Christian is sleeping with his mother. Paul tells us that this man must be separated and his flesh given over to Satan for destruction. This man was still saved but was not acting as a good example of a Christian. When we fellowship with backslidden christians and/or non-believers we tend to also commit sin. This is why Paul wanted him separated. Once this person realized and felt badly about his sin (repented) he confessed his sin to the Lord to regain his fellowship. Take the parable of the prodigal son for example. This son was an example of a person who was not in fellowship with the Lord. The father never stopped loving his son and the son would never stop being the father’s son. Once the son had a change of mind (Repented), he was allowed to have fellowship with his father again and his father received him with open arms. To sum it up, salvation is an event and discipleship is a process. The process of discipleship is ongoing and we are always growing and maturing in Christ. The Christian who fails in discipleship will live a very difficult life on earth and lose eternal rewards in heaven but will always be saved. I hope I cleared some things up for you. God bless you!

We are saved when God chooses to save us, salvation is not of our own works or choice. Eph 2:8-9, John 1:12. I still sin after more than 30 years, but it is not often outwardly sin as when I was younger. God now convicts me mostly of attitudes, motives, thoughts, inward stuff. I confess them as soon as I can to keep short accounts with God. Sin seperates us from God and I don't want to be seperates from Him who is my life. We all sin. 1John 1:8-10, it's what we do once God convicts us! There is none righteous, no not one... it is only by His grace that we stand. To him that stands, take heed lest you fall. God bless!

Where did you get that one from…… That’s what that lady from the channel Melissa at midnight oil is always doing. She loves to change the meaning of words to fit her legalistic bondage that she’s in. Repent of your sins is found nowhere in the Bible. God himself repented 39 times in the old testament. Did he repent of his sins? Are you going to change the definition of repent? Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Paul used to quote the old testament quite often. I believe this verse was in one of the Psalms if you look it up. If he meant it that we were supposed to do works then that is a direct contradiction to his own writings. The Bible cannot contradict itself. I don’t understand how you legalists cannot get Ephesians chapter 2 vs 8 through 10 correct. We are not saved by our works but we are saved to do good works. You are preaching a false gospel. You should be concentrating on the books of Paul… Romans through Philemon. Paul is the apostle to the Gentiles, he gave us the gospel in first Corinthians chapter 15 verses 1 through 4. There are so many verses in the Bible which talk about being born again of God’s spirit. We are saved, sealed and sanctified by the Holy Spirit of promise. Salvation is an event not a process. The only process that we have is discipleship. We battle our flesh daily but if you are born again you cannot lose your salvation. First John chapter 3 verse 9: whosoever is born of God cannot commit sin because his seed remainith in him and he cannot sin because he is born of God. When a person becomes born again they are a new creature and the soul and spirit is circumcised from the flesh. Why do you feel it necessary to change the word of God? Salvation is a free gift and cannot be earned or worked for, to make another claim is absurd. Please read the book of Galatians. Stop changing definitions of words and stop misleading people with your work salvation heretical nonsense that is sending people to Hell.

Ulises Ramirez So should I throw out the books of Paul because he says he is a Pharisee? Paul was a Pharisee who was chosen to spread the news of the gospel by Jesus Christ. Paul would go to the Jews first to preach the word of God, he was a Jew from the tribe of Benjamin and he was trying to get everyone saved. In the book of second Timothy chapter 3:16 it states that all scripture is given under inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, for correction and instruction in righteousness. The books of Paul are part of scripture, you seem to have a warped view on things. It seems to me that you are a type a Pharisee because you are refusing the true gospel and are trying to do works to get to heaven. The Father‘s will is for you to accept Jesus as your savior. You seem to want to earn your way to heaven and disregard God’s grace. Romans chapter 11 verse 6 states that you cannot mix works with grace…… It’s either one or the other. My suggestion is that you take the grace because God says there are none righteous no not one. I feel that you are trying to combine salvation with discipleship and they are in fact two separate things.

These verses are NOT describing how a person goes to heaven (There are many clear verses on how to & NOT how to get to heaven). It is a call or command to every Christian to obey God. That includes pursuing holiness (1 Peter 1:16) with all our hearts, and sacrificially submitting to Him. God wants us to be serious in our obedience. Yet God is the one who really helps us do all of this by His Holy Spirit. That is the message of Ephesians 5:17-18. Galatians 5:15-23 teaches us that the Holy Spirit is at work to transform us. God is working in us and every true Christian will want to be obedient (Philippians 1:6). It doesn't mean WORK TO SALVATION it means WORK OUT SALVATION. You can't work out something you don't have. ------THE BIBLE IS CLEAR YOU CAN NOT WORK TO EARN SALVATION BECAUSE.... "4 Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. 5 However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness" Romans 4:4-5 --------- Also, demons know the truth. They know that Jesus is the Son of God. They probably know more than we do about the power of God. They watched Jesus Christ come to earth, live as a man, and then be crucified. The legion of demons that Jesus casted into the swine, knew who Jesus was. Demons know this all to be true BUT their condemnation is sure. ---James’ point is that mere agreement to the historical and theological facts about Jesus will not save a person. Saving faith results in a new creation, which produces good works.

I was watching a sermon with my young son and the pastor asked, “if you were to die today do you know that you will be with Jesus?” And I thought to myself “hmm I don’t know” “I don’t think I’m good enough yet”. That thought quickly went thru my mind. My son automatically answered “yes”. I looked at him immediately and heard the verse in the Bible that says we are to be like children. And I turned to my son and said, “thank you for reminding me of what faith means”. Jesus used my son to remind me of the truth. I’m not good enough but guess what? There's been many times i beat myself up over the same sin and whenever im in prayer asking for forgiveness feeling like a failure before God. “Mental Torture” you’ve got that right. I’ve struggled with this for a year and even now my mind struggles to wake up to this truth. To grasp this truth will really help with your relationship with God. Because trying your best to not sin will not go well. You’ll find out that you sin way more than you know. I’ve seen someone say they went a whole day without sinning, and I don’t believe it. There are a lot more sins than the obvious ones. It gets a little scary, but that’s why God came to Earth for us, and why we don’t just need a savior, we REALLY need a savior. Edit: Also I understand the “freight train of condemnation” analogy. This kind of fight can’t be fought with the flesh. Paul made that clear in Galatians and Romans and a bunch of other places in the Bible. Fighting sin with the flesh will only make things worse.

Repenting of sins is not required to get into heaven. However, repenting and believing in Jesus Christ is. Understand what “repent” means. It means “change of mind.” God “repents” in the Old Testament over 10 times. Does God sin? Certainly not. The “repenting of sins” for salvation is works-based doctrine. You come to Jesus as you are - covered in sin. You repent FIRST by changing your mind about who you are (a sinner), who Jesus is (your Savior) and what you receive for placing your trust in Him (salvation). God bless you

The lake of fire however, is very real. It’s called “the second death” because people perish there for good. I heard a story of a man who had that same thought he said to himself I've gone a whole day without sinning and then he heard the Holy Spirit speak to him...Just because you didnt sin today doesn't mean your any closer to me..wow truth! There are times when I sin and God does bring it to my attention or I already knew I was wrong I simply agree with Him and say I'm sorry it's like my child when they have done wrong and they say sorry I immediately forgive them I love them and would never stop loving them know matter what they did and if I an earthly parent love like that how much more our perfect Father in heaven love His children. I went through this too. I still fall back into it here and there, but he reminds me that it’s what he did and not what I do. I think God uses the this because we really feel the weight of doing it ourselves and the struggle and how it isn’t the true gospel of Jesus. You have described exactly what I was doing , counting how many times I've was falling away and sinning. It felt like I was always letting God down. Thinking the same things , to the point where I am afraid to even pray because I thought Jesus would just say what's the point in cleaning you anymore.I have a feeling the end is very close and so I was carrying this weight of every single sin I've committed on my shoulders vs all the sins I've rebuked. 1 John 3:21-23 “Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And THIS is his commandment, That we should BELIEVE on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.” Live in the freedom Christ gives🙏🏼 and stick to the Word of God! The enemy tells us to look at our sin.... but God tells us to look at His Son. I couldn’t change myself. I even asked God to kill me. When I finally got IT, that’s when things started to change. No more addictions, no more depressions. I was a legalist and upset and angry- then got saved by grace- then went into hyper grace- I became happy and then realised that something was off when they started to preach that you need not obey Jesus. This is something I’ve been doing for such a long time. I felt like that was the way I was protecting Jesus too , it’s crazy . Like I’m in the background sinning but I can’t watch someone else do a sinful act because it felt disrespectful to the Lord but it was just shining light to my sin. For so long I wanted this to go away so I prayed for God to help me so I wouldn’t sin anymore. I even found myself asking God to make me feel bad for sinning because after a while it didn’t disturb my spirit anymore but God is good and he used YOU to share the actual light into my darkness , into the lies of the enemy. This morning I read in the book of Mathew how the Pharisees wanted to compare themselves with works to the disciples but Jesus said “but go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” And that wrecked me while watching your video because I felt like a Pharisee in that moment and realized that I needed to humble myself because I am nothing. I just wanted to share that because you have no idea how I thought I was the only one. That every other Christian had it together and I was the one who just couldn’t. Ive been struggling with this for years!! I can remember in the beginning when it felt like i was walking on clouds with Jesus all the time. Then i got mixed up with works and stuff and its been a couple of years of me living in constant fear of God and trying to prove myself. Mariah may God bless you. This message needs to go viral. I personally haven't been to church for years because of these exact same issues and more. I've come from an ultra legalistic teaching ex JW. I was forced in at the age of 5. I finally broke away at the age of around 21. Literally all my friends would stop talking to me in fear that they too would be excommunicated. This all started when I looked into the origins of the society organisation of the JW after I made friends with a guy who one night coming back from work, was sideswiped by a car at the entrance onto a freeway, went flying over 10m in the air over the hard shoulder only to hit the road and immediately was flattened under another car doing 100kms P/H. Anyway he survived after coming out of a coma and being in hospital for nearly 6 months. He was my main source of inspiration as he professed Jesus where ever he went. He claimed that Jesus saved his life

I used to do “works” to BE right with God (dead works). Now (learning what you have just learned), I do good works BECAUSE I am right with God (good works Eph. 2:10). THANK YOU LORD!!! I feel like this message was for me!! About two days ago I was crying in the bathroom to God because I was EXHAUSTED. I was so depressed because I felt like I’m always sinning no matter what, the second I even think a bad thought, I feel like my whole salvation is gone and God is so disappointed in me. I felt like I’m always trying all the time to be sin free and do things to please God and it made me miserable. In the past this drove me to develop religious OCD (scrupulosity) which is something that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I would read chapters like Romans 13 and would think that I’m sinning even if I go 1 above the speed limit when I’m driving. After I cried to God for him to open my eyes, let me know what it means to be saved by him, and save me from this mental torture I’m in, I opened the Bible app and it was Philippians 3. Which basically talked about legalism and that we’re saved by Grace through faith. That is the first time I ever understood what it actually means to have FREEDOM in the Lord! I’m a sinner but I don’t have to rely on myself when I want to stop sinning. God is in control and he will give me directions and understanding. I feel that I’m no longer bound by my sin or the OCD that comes with it. I now know that feeling condemned all the time is from the devil and the lord wants me to be free. THANK YOU JESUS!!

God literally pulled me back not even a month ago and I used to beat myself up for not being worthy enough to be called a child of God...I would beat myself up for sinning and making God disappointed in me...I just wanted to please God. I’m still going through the process but because of Christian tiktok. I came to truly understand salvation. I broke down and cried to Jesus, surrendered everything to Him. Amen! Many believe Romans 3:24 means Jesus makes us righteous in our flesh. Not true. It is true that we have the Holy Spirit and because of the Holy Spirit, we bear good fruit. However, Christ makes us righteous before GOD spiritually. Upon believing on Him for salvation, His righteousness is automatically put on us before the Father. That’s why we receive eternal life. It has nothing to do with “being righteous” and everything to do with what JESUS’ righteousness has completed in our place. Romans 1:17 Romans 4:13 Romans 9:30 Romans 3:21-22 Romans explains this best. Ask God to reveal this to you.... it’s only received if we have the Holy Spirit of truth guiding us. Obedience doesn’t save you. I’m not bragging, but since you think I live in sin, allow me to illustrate what my life looks like. I’m married, I read God’s Word and pray every day... I talk to God multiple times a day and think about Him pretty much all day every day. My favorite thing to do is talk about scripture and Jesus. I don’t live in sin... and I try to please God with how I live. However, NONE OF THIS SAVES ME. I repeat: NONE OF THIS SAVES ME NOT MY OBEDIENCE NOT MY ABSTINENCE OF SIN NOTHING BUT THE DEATH, BLOOD, AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST. I wish people would understand this. But sadly, many professing Christians will find themselves in front of Jesus Christ Himself saying : Lord, Lord, did WE not?” Instead of “Lord, Lord we TRUSTED in YOU for salvation!” These believers will be given eternal life because they TRUSTED IN JESUS for salvation and NOTHING THEY DID to “earn” it. YOU can’t earn it. It’s heart breaking reading these comments... the Gospel isn’t a minister of sin and neither is Jesus. I wish people would open their Bibles instead of googling verses they think contradicts the Word of God.

Its so good to hear someone say something about youtube. YT has been a source of so much condemnation, confusion and heavy discouragement. I also had(sometime have) the mindset that if it was a "though" video, I had to watch it to prove my fear of God, but often i became so discouraged that i withdrew from him in fear. Now i am coming to the understanding that i shoudnt watch things that will trigger this, even if it is a video that is true and ment to encourage. I had the mindset that if i couldnt watch truth, then i was not a real christian. Like f.e. watching peoples testimonies about having been taken hell etc or watching vidoes that is very "ARE YOU READY? Or WAKE UP! Or God showed this or that in a dream BE READY. Etcetcetc.. Sometimes i could watch it, but often it would make me so fearfull and discouraged(because i was already tormented with all the scary bible worses), that it made it hard for me to come in front of him like a child to its parent.

I do believe Jesus is coming back soon, but all of the chaos online with the dreams, visions, arguing and whatnot is becoming a distraction....rather than a “strengthening-faith” message. It’s not edifying God or bringing people closer to Him because of how loving, amazing, and forgiving He is.. but because people want to escape hell. This has been a daily prayer for me and you are not weird by any means. And if this makes you weird then I’m all for being weird because this has sparked that fire I’ve been needing. I long for serving Jesus and always have it’s been my passion but I too thought the same way when a bad thought came to my mind or feelingI felt like, “dang I need to repent or I won’t go to Heaven or I’m not saved”. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that one of the reasons so many Christians have a hard time receiving this is because they think it means giving in to sin and letting it have it's way. But it's actually the way to victory over sin; when we realize, experientially, that it's Christ in us who is the hope of glory. God gives grace to the humble, but resists the proud. When we beat ourselves up for sinning we're failing to recognize this. And yet we're afraid to not beat ourselves up for sinning because we incorrectly think that this means we're OK with sinning. When we do beat ourselves up for sinning, who are we disappointed with? We're disappointed with ourselves... as if we had that kind of control. Paul said, I do not frustrate the grace of God. For if righteousness came by the law (our works) then Jesus died for nothing. I have a similar background as you - very legalistic. It got me a big fat nowhere. Now that I'm older I'm realizing that my life, though I thought it had been a failure, is just boot camp towards eternity. God is more interested in what he can do in you than he is in what he can do through you. Yes, he wants to use us for his glory. But ironically it seems like it tends to be the Christians who are the most ambitious about being God's men and women of faith and power who end up falling the hardest. Two scriptures that have been most important to me - one of them I already quoted: God gives grace to the humble but resists the proud. The second is, For I was determined to know nothing among you except for Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

I’ve been staying off social media lately because it seems as though many Christians think I’m doing what you mentioned: “being okay with sinning.” They’re accusing me and attacking me - I have to block many of them because they’re misunderstanding the Gospel and taking out unnecessary anger on me. I’m just preaching the Gospel It’s obvious that God hates sin and sin is not permissible by any means. That’s the reason Christ was crucified - not to abuse Grace, but to have hope and rest in His finished work. People just can’t see this... many, many Christians are unsaved because of this. They haven’t truly believed in the Gospel of their salvation. The freedom we have in Christ is deemed as “dangerous” to those who are trying to enter heaven through other ways besides the sheep gate. I was in a .99 store standing in line. A homeless man came into the store. The man smelt so bad other shoppers were spraying him with cologne to hide the stench. He checked out a couple registers over, and someone paid for his things. I left and asked the Holy Spirit what can I learn from this. The Holy Spirit said that was the stench of my righteousness to God. The Bible says our righteousness is as filthy rags. The Bible does not say we’re saved by our will, our strength, our goodness, or through our striving. Surrender to the Holy Spirit speaking time you. The Bible says He is the Good Shepherd and His sheep know His voice. Faith grows from being obedient to the word spoken to you by the Holy Spirit.

Brother Nicholas, I just listened to your testimony. Praise God! Salvation is of the Lord. Brother Mark said it best, SURRENDER! Your trials are natural, common , meant to be. The disagreements with your wife are meant to build your character ect. Rejoice! Rest N Christ finished work 4 your salvation, from start to finish. Wow sister, I had the EXACT same revelation just yesterday. Before I was HATING SATAN more than I was LOVING GOD. But the Lord Himself led me to a church service and when we sang the hymn "It's in His Name" I understood in an instant... How much He loves us. And I finally understood what His peace was, and His joy and rest was... Its amazing really - I WAS the loveless church (Church of Ephesus), but the Lord opened my eyes. Oh my goodness Sister, I so needed to remember this. I have always been a believer, I never needed proof, etc etc etc. about 3 yrs ago, Jesus hugged me in my truck lol, yup it was absolutely amazing. He told me to leave California, I did everything he told me to do, mind you, I had a very successful business, we were making lots of money, I wanted for nothing, but I closed it down and moved out to the middle of nowhere, after 2 yrs my husband dies, he was given 2 yrs, but I asked God that if he was going to suffer through what was coming to please take him now, he was gone in 5 months. that night I got confirmation that he was on the mountain of the Lord, I know it sounds crazy but I have proof. well, this whole time he has guided me in what to buy, prep, etc, you name it, there were times I had no money and literally, thousands would show up. he has revealed to me that I am one of his Safe Havens where he will be sending people, I had no idea what that was, but apparently, there are lots of us. This is where you come in, I have been so conflicted for the past 2 months, somewhere it got in my head that I need repentance. I even just today thought I was going to do a video on it because I felt so sure I was right. Other times I would question it, but I always went right back to "Oh the least people can do is repent, it just means your sorry and don't do it again" even after what Jesus did on the Cross for us I still felt, that was the least we could do. well in the past 3 yrs our Father has been teaching me everything, I know so much more than I ever thought I could possibly know. because of this, my family won't talk to me, I have no friends to speak of, a few acquaintances but that's it, people do not want to hear about Jesus, they want to celebrate their pagan days and feel like it's just all in fun no harm no foul. After hearing your whole testimony, I just started giggling, because he has used other videos showing me things as well, somehow you showed up in my feed and I just clicked on your video part 1, then I saw you did part 2 and this is where you speak of the Good News. As a child, I knew the Good News but somehow I let this repentance thing in my head. well until I heard this video. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony in the way that you have. I feel so much relief right now you have no idea but then again I think you do. for a baby Christian, you have more knowledge and understanding than many that have been believers our whole lives. You are not a nobody, our Father woke you for a time just as this, I have an understanding of so much that sometimes it's a lot to hold onto, when God says he made us in his image, man looks at himself and says "Oh this is what he looks like" but they forget the sin, we never had flesh in the garden, we were light beings, Adam shimmered and shined, we are made of electricity and water, that's why we need paddles of electric shock if our hearts stop and why lightning is dangerous to us. we have enough wiring to go to the moon and back 72 times in just one body. we can go months without food, food was for us to enjoy, we have made it 3 or more times a day meals and disease. Oh and if people really understood the sin in the Garden they would vomit, God did not kick them out for just eating an apple lol. but the truth of some things is not meant for everyone, just knowing the simple things might be best for some. When Jesus said many will come to me in that Day saying have not I done these works in your name and cast out devils in your name and his response will be I never knew you. I believe that would be because they really never rested in the saving power Jesus. Adults complicate everything but to children everything is simple. Yet the only way we can receive the kingdom of heaven is as a child. Jesus said ask and it shall be given and he who comes to me I will in no wise turn away. Jesus said to forgive not 7 * 7 but Seventy Times Seven. Hold on to every promise that Jesus made for he is faithful not like so-called Christians that tries to throw you back into that world of trusting your own strength. I’m so glad God has revealed the true meaning of the Gospel to you, and I’m so excited that you can move into the purpose that God has in your life with the right mindset. As soon as I saw the title, I IMMEDIATELY thought of the verses in Romans, so I am so glad you brought them up. I was raised Pentecostal/Assembly of God then later in life got into the occult. They were all works based. Then 3 yrs ago I had a personal supernatural encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ & started following Him. I got back into the works based system and for the 1st year & 1/2 I was full of condemnation, fear, & depression. Never measured up to what I thought was the mark. Living in a sin & repent lifestyle. God bless you, Sister. I really needed to hear this. It isn't that I believed in faith + works... more that I have faith and love God soooo much that I don't want to disappoint Him. I have been feeling like every sin I make, whether it is an ugly thought or a nasty word, that I am adding to weight of sin that Jesus bore on the cross. That thought breaks my heart. I've put so much pressure on myself, praying everyday for God to help keep me from sin and to please forgive me the seconds after a thought or word come out that would disappoint Him. Frankly, I'm exhausted. I feel as though I have to be mindful of my thoughts and actions every single moment of everysingle day. I ask for His strength and lean on Him because I know only He can make the impossible possible. I just feel so tired.
