I Was Shocked By Manila Philippines On My First Day!! In this Philippines travel vlog on my first day In Manila Philippines and I am shocked by the beauty of the BGC (bonifacio global city) area of Manila. This BGC area looks nothing like other parts of Philippines and resembles New york city or Los Angeles with all the tall skyscrapers and wide streets. When you travel to Manila Philippines you must visit the BGC area.

Who am I?
A man from the USA trying to travel the world one place at a time, while sharing the journey through my lens. I like traveling to places that are usually not first on most people’s tourism list and showing everyone that these places are worth the journey. I want to experience all the countries I visit as a member of the society but at the same time learn about the culture, food and beautiful people. Growth is not achievable without leaving your comfort zone, so just do it!

next time check if there is pedestrian nearby when you cross from your hotel to BGC. Literally wont take 2minutes of your time. Shows respect to people who uses the pedestrian vs a foreigner who don't. and please follow traffic rules.

As I said BGC, Makati and Ortigas are the cities in the Metropolis that are well planned and in harmony with the importance of greeneries that's why there are a lot of open spaces and vegetation that are not only pleasing to the eyes but environmentally friendly too. These areas are developed by the Ayalas and the Ortigas who are Spaniard descendants compared to Chinese monkey business people who have no regard for proper urban planning as long they are earning deceitful money from the blood of the Filipinos.

Even if BGC seem like a bubble place, it's not only the develope place in the Metro Manila. Makati City, the Rockwell, the Alabang, the Bay erea in Pasay and many more are some of the developed vicinities of the Metro. Actually, the business capital of the Philippines is Makati, and Makati is much compared to New York City because of Skyscrapers, and BGC is most likely seem to be the New York, Los Angeles and Miami without the beach combined. Don't mind those people who're saying that BGC isn't Manila, they're just jealous if their City's are not mentioned specifically, but there's nothing wrong to say it's Manila, because it's a part of the Metro Manila anyway! Do you think that I don't know about that information, well, you're wrong, it's been a discussion some decades ago, but still until now it has not changed the perception of the majority, Metro Manila is here to stay despite what you call law!🤨

There are a number of areas in Metro Manila that have been developed like BGC. They are ASEANA CITY, in Pasay City , EASTWOOD CITY, in Quezon City, GREENFIELD District in Mandaluyong City, FILINVEST in Alabang and ORTIGAS CBD....etc...

Brother, thank you for citing CORRECT city and location of these other wonderful areas to explore. Let's support these vloggers properly promote our country by telling them true and correct city locations and stop calling everything "Manila". It's getting quite annoying tbh...

There’s so many areas in metro manila that are the same As BgC. You should check out Rockwell Center in Makati for example. Albeit a smaller district, but its more posh and snobbier than BGC 😅

Good observation right there. The Philippines was colonized by the Americans whilst Malaysia and Singapore are both colonized by the British. That explains why the Philippines has more American brands than British.

And also why woke gender nonsense culture is growing here esp in Quezon City. That a huge shame since PHL is "supposedly" a Catholic country yet it is disregarding that God only made man and woman.

I was at xylo in May 2023 so all those sidewalk bar cafes like tulum were there at that time. I enjoyed sitting out there compared to xylo which I hated

BGC is still part of Metro Manila but not of City of Manila which is also part of metro Manila. If you get what I mean.
