The bottle is a crown top soda bottle from the first half of the 1900s. Based off the air bubbles in the base, it’s probably on the older side. Ginger Ale was Lloyd’s biggest seller.

I have found a couple of coins from 1785 & 1803. It's just amazing to have found some that old without a metal detector.😊

@@Dirty-digs All the people are doing that are buying views. They are inflating their numbers to look more attractive to VIEWERS. Lets say you put on a dump digging video tomorrow. It gets 400 views after 5 days. Old Brandon down in Alabama will buy 20,000 plus views on his dump digging upload to look more attractive to viewers than YOU. If you were scrolling through uploads. What would you click on. A video with 400 views. Or one with 40,000. You are getting cheated dude. 100%

@ 20:21 of the video, in my humble opinion it's either a top to a drinking Whiskey / Rum (what ever floats your boat) Pocket FLASK. The "grippey end is called a Knurled end," Knurling comes in all different roughness. You may be more familiar with Knurling on some ratchet wrenches.

@@Dirty-digs As to age of item Top of a Flask, because you didn't find a "rubber-gasket," it dates it to before rubber was widely used as gasket material. Odds are it had a cork gasket, that simply dissolved / rotted away. Pre-1900's.

I live in NH and got a detector years ago. I haven't gone once because IDK where I'm allowed to go, where I can detect in private away from people lol
@Dirty-digs
@Dirty-digs 28 күн бұрын
@@NickBEADG look up your local laws regarding metal detecting, each town can have different ordinances. The best way is to start in your own yard and learn what the machine is telling you, dig everything and practice digging neat and perfect plugs. Once you have all the important basics down, then branch out to family member or friends or try asking homeowners in the area that have older homes if you can detect their property etc.

@@Dirty-digs I live in an apartment in Londonderry so I can't do any digging here😂 kinda congested area but I'll look into it more and see what's in the area. I thought about venturing outwards from the rail trails but I know effectually it turns into private lands.

@@Dirty-digs I’m enjoying your channel. I’ve often speculated about remote undetected areas along the Connecticut River, on both sides.
