Nice hunt. Thanks for sharing. Are you sure that isn't a 1926 SLQ? 1826 seems a bit out of the date range for an SLQ.
@centralpametaldetectorist2896 ай бұрын
Yeah it would be. If I said 18 it was an error on my part. I know SLQs weren’t made till after the barber which goes I believe to 1916.

So many amazing finds, the beautiful lock and pocket watch. All the buckles and crotal bells. Congrats on all the incredible GW buttons. The Draped bust, KG, Draped bust half dollar and the silver pin. Take care guys.

Loved the video Jerry… you are definitely the Crotal Bell king …. No one else has dug as many as you. Congratulations on a very great hunt
@centralpametaldetectorist2896 ай бұрын
That’s a title I’ll take buddy. I don’t know why I find so many around here. Maybe the fact that the horse and buggy never went out of style and still in use till this day heavily here. I’d rather be the Draped Bust silver king but I’ll take what I can get 😂

Nice Victorian silver bar brooch. A master jeweler could restore it and make it stunning, and of course replace the stone. Have you seen the bar brooch I had restored?

It’s possible. I sometimes have guests. It’s a hard time of the year right now that the fields are planted. Our creeks and rivers are tough for water hunting because they have big rocks, so we are down to pastures and yards which are hard to get into. Sometimes we spend hours driving and knocking.

I honestly don’t want to waste time showing the VDI/digging holes/and scenery I just get to the good stuff. When I watch others videos I find myself hitting that fast forward button a lot. I do throw some clips in there occasionally showing how to’s. Maybe something to think about in the future for the beginners of the hobby. I just figured most of my viewers are hardcore diggers like myself and cut to the chase. I’ll keep that in mind.
