You should have volunteers rotate staying on the property to help with the building as well as caring for animals, running the sanctuary, fundraising etc...you are gonna need help with all of the animals and building.try to get a tiny house sponsor so you can have accommodations for volunteers

@@allie4918 Maybe your right but people volunteer at animal rescues or do internships all the time..a small farm up the road takes interns who live in their house who also run a sanctuary/rescue for farm animals. Volunteers make it possible to take in more animals as well as donate fresh natural food to poor people locally....not to be confused for "organic" even if you use no chemical pesticides and all the livestock are grass-fed they cannot legally call themself organic it is a racket anyway it cost an extra million dollars for a small farm to call themself organic because of legal paperwork and those who are allowed to call themself organic are not even close to organic...I understand what you mean the world has definitely changed. I have lived in a hippie community most of my adult life so I know what people can accomplish when they work together and share resources/talents/skills

I got chills when you revealed the phenomenal update on the fence donation. Wonderful & amazing news!!! All around I think it is going to be much better for Asher House Sanctuary to be in Oregon rather than California especially post-Covid. Your surrounding area is gorgeous and being in more of a small town setting will only benefit you, Asher House Sanctuary and of course the animals.
