Hi! I really enjoyed your reaction, I am a big fan of both The warning and One ok rock. I've seen One ok rock live a bunch of times on their tours and let me tell you going to their shows is always worth it, they are absolutely incredible. I've also seen them open for Muse on 2 different stadium shows in europe last summer and it was fun seeing the whole crowd, who was clueless abt them, immediately turn into fans song after song! As you said they definitely know how to work a crowd, be it in a small venue or in a stadium. You're correct: 3xxxv5 is the name of the intro, it comes from the name of the album they released and toured for in 2015 which is called 35xxxv (xxxv is 35 in roman numbers). The members said 35 is a number they happened to see often while working on the album so they considered it to be a lucky one. The 35xxxv album is also quite meaningful in their career as it was the first one they released an English version for, after signing with Warner Bros records in the US. They're currently signed to Fueled by Ramen and in 2021 they also established their own company called 10969inc. (10969 is another way to refer to one ok rock as that number combination is read as wan-o-ku-ro-ku in japanese) I'd like to recommend more live videos: - One Ok Rock Renegades live on the Luxury Disease Japan Tour 2023. This is from their latest tour in Japan and the song was released as a single in 2021 and then added to their newest and 10th album Luxury Disease (2022). -Smiling down and Liar live at Saitama Super arena 2015. This one is from the same concert of the video you watched, it's two songs in one video. I'd especially like you to watch Liar, the 2nd one, but if you want to watch the whole video both songs are very good and the first one has a very different feeling to it as Taka, the singer, wrote it for a friend, a fellow japanese rock singer, who passed away. -Deeper deeper live at Yokohama Stadium 2014. This song is a bit older but it's one of their most popular ones. Also this was their first show in a sold out Stadium of 60,000 capacity. Sorry for the long comment, have a nice day! Hahaha ooow I’m glad you are in xd Just to let you know, of you like heavy rock, that’s one of their heaviest songs and they have a few like that (Mighty Long Fall, Deeper Deeper, Make it out alive, Ending Story etc) but they are not always as heavy as here - they mostly do alternative rock, pop rock, pop punk etc. Even then, you should check some of their ballads bc they are amazing (Wherever you are, Good Goodbye, Your tears are mine). And yeah, they are amazing live! Even some songs that didn’t impress me on the album (I love most anyway), are improved life (like The way back, Take what you want(!)) - but they always try to do something special, something new, at their concerts. Perhaps any song would be improved with a guitas solo, Takas vocals and the stage presents OOR has xd But they realy give 120%, start to finish, on the stage! (I think Taka said he choose ‚35’ as a album title as a lucky number, bc that was first album they were releasing with american lable and oficially internationally, after their succes domesticaly. So it’s thhe album name and also name of thet intro part. And if you ever wanna more of Toru Ryota and Tomoya (guitar, bass, drums) just on their own, type ‚one ok rock instrumental’ in yt, they do it every concert, and I love it xd

The instrumental track at the beginning is "3xxxv5" (read "thirty-five") and the vocal track after that is "Take Me To the Top" from their album 35xxxv (also read as "thirty-five."). XXXV is 35 in Roman numerals. If you're wanting something recent, there's "Renegades" at Luxury Disease Japan Tour and "Make It Out Alive" at 1CHANCE FESTIVAL. Both videos are available on the band's official channel. The band's goal is to bring back rock so definitely keep an eye out on them. They've got the talent and just need the opportunity to break out in the west. Opening for Muse last year in the US and Europe helped some, but to think what could have been had they been able to tour with Linkin Park as scheduled... 😔

OOR is widely versatile. They can do mainstream pop or hard punk rock. They are simply insane live. I recommend Mighty Long Fall live from Yokohama and Cry Out live from Ambitious tour. Most recent live performance I think you'd enjoy is Make it Out alive and Renegades (live of course, both 2023 performances) Love from Argentina

Yeah, One Ok Rock are pretty damn good. They've been around for almost 20 years now and they've made stuff ranging from hard rock/hardcore to downright pop and are one of the biggest bands in Japan. They're pretty well known internationally but still pale in comparison so its nice that others are finding them.

I doubt that they open with that one because they have a whole bunch of really good songs on the same level: Clock Strikes, Take What You Want, We Are, Mighty Long Fall. Incidentally, if you go to Japan to see a double bill, forget The Warning and just upgrade the whole thing (vocals, guitar, bass, drums, writing, arrangements, body of work) with Band Maid / One Ok Rock. That way you'd be all Japanese and better off for it.

Thank you for trying again to react to them. The 35xxxv title is the title of their album and same name of this particular tour. It read as the number 35. The instrumental part in the opening of the album 35xxxv. Some recommendations are the following. If you like this, I would recommend Deeper Deeper and Ending Story live. Both of those song predate this one and are also excellent. Also "xxxv" is 35 in roman numerals, it's just a play of numbers. If you want to hear Taka sing, you should check out Clock Strikes live from Luxury Disease tour. It's an older song, but Taka has been perfecting his vocals on it and it's pretty great.
