When I was in addiction treatment in 2020, there was a beautiful young woman I befriended who had been trafficked. What they did to her was truly brutal and horrific. It became clear very quickly she needed to be with other survivors and recieve specific care and treatment for what happened to her. Our therapist was working to find a good facility she could go to. Before that happened, she slipped away in the night. Our therapist drove around for 2 hours to try to find her. She was gone. Aubrey, my sweet girl, I have never stopped thinking about you, Ill never forget you and will never stop saying prayers for you.

Here’s hoping she is ok and found some measure of peace. For what it’s worth, which may not be much coming from a stranger, I hope the same for you. Regardless which addiction you were fighting, it sounds like you fought like hell and I commend you for that. I’ve fought similar battles various times and I can appreciate how strong a bond can be when you meet good/likeminded people during treatment. When you’re at your most vulnerable and are open to sharing deep thoughts regarding life experiences or challenges. I’d argue it’s one of the most genuine, honest and substantial bonds an addict can have, and I know you must feel strongly about that woman. I know all too well how that goes and my heart goes out to you both. Be well.

I have listened to Anneke's story for over five years now. In the past, she has refused to name names of her abusers and traffickers. She has never named her abusers because there’s probably none. She couldn’t name live politicians before because they would quickly have proven that she is a liar. Even if she names someone now, she will name people who are dead already and probably never even met her while they were alive..and…most importantly…can’t defend themselves because they are effing dead! Nobody ever backed up her story, she is always totally alone when she spins her tale. No other child victims are corroborating her story. Ever. According to her she was also tortured by her abusers. But wait….it never left a scar! There’s no scars on her body, apparently they all magically disappeared. I was about 10 years old when I banged one of my knees on a wrought iron coffee table. It was bleeding superficially a bit then it stopped. Guess what? Decades later I still have a tiny scar on that knee. So how come her body has totally healed after all that torture? It’s because she is a liar.

I was also passed around to man to man to man from the age of 5/6 by my own parents (extremely violent, drug addicted father, and a mother who was besotted with him and worshipped the ground he walked on. She was the kind of mother who would allow the partner to kill the children if he wished it ) . One man was a particularly vile person who enjoyed spitting in my face and choking me out while assaulting me. I am 33 now and still slowly trying to rebuild my life. It will be a life long uphill struggle. .. I have left my house only 5 times in over a decade because crippling anxiety and panic attacks. Baby steps.. baby steps. …doesn’t matter how slowly you are moving forwards , as long as you are moving forwards. Anyone who is struggling with the same… I love you , and keep pushing on.

Almost happened to me, I was 22 went to a job interview for flight attendant for a small outfit in Toronto. I’m up North where people are sparse. Went to the interview and they had a conference room rented but only a man there. No other people waiting. Told him my situation, that I’d be moving to the city in a few months.. I had a toddler and was sharing custody, week in week off. But they would hire me. Months later they call me to bring my passport and meet at buttonville airport. I didn’t, but I think of it often. This was 2002, there wasn’t much of an internet to research things. Adult professional me knows it was trafficking. The whole thing was so sketchy. I don’t think I would’ve come back..

My violent stepfather was evil but it was his own father who sexually molested me as a 10 year old. When I told my mother, she just pretended like nothing was wrong with it and ignored it. I was traumatised by it, got anxious, depressed at 12 years old. My mental health was poor throughout my life. I am estranged from my mother and my relatives. It is tragic what children are forced to experience at the hands of evil self-serving adults. This trauma affects your whole life. This depraved cruelty is covered up and swept under the proverbial rug. My stepfather’s father was a drunken peadophile. I was the easy target. These people never faced any public or private exposure. My dead stepfather harasses me in my dreams to this day but I barely remember what his dead father looks like, which is great. I think the worst part of this is the SILENCE. Ignorance is not bliss. The survivor of sexual abuse carries this burden into adulthood. Trust was broken. If one cannot trust the dearest and nearest, WHOM can you trust? This is the worst kind of BETRAYAL. 🥺😡🤬

Be careful of those sick predators on the internet who may pose as rich celebrities to lure vulnerable young people who come from families with financial problems with promises of a better lifestyle. That would be the perfect way for those predators to find victims. Gain their trust in order to get them to open up about their personal lives. Sick, but it's how those predators operate.

If someone can freely afford what is available willingly (or for a price) at some stage they will tire of it and seek new thrills. It's the nature of power - it corrupts absolutely. It's why there should be no life terms for politicians, judges, justices or anyone else in a role where they have power over society.

@@goldielocks6467 True, I'd only add that not everyone behaves the same when given such power, I mean only one part of the powerful rich individuals are pe d os also involved in those additional cri mes with little ones, I'd say it's not all of them. We can't know for sure why that percentage of people does these inexplicable atrocities, I would guess it's probably due to their own unhealed trauma, some mental issues and honestly - possession... there are so many demons, we have no idea... I found out about all these from Deliverance with Pastor Henry channel and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to find out more.
