It's not thaaat easy, because of the many things you have to keep in check at once. But since Dan is constantly looking left&right, trying stuff and generally fucking around while talking to his audience, he has no clue what to do since the story and info is in the broadcast. You can do better, i heard it's on sale ;-)

20:36 Having taken Video Production/News Reporting classes I can confirm that they literally tell us that you want to change the scene or camera every 3-8 seconds. Live broadcasts are more precise and on the fly, but when editing videos for broadcast you don't want to linger on a single camera angle for more than those few seconds. It's an interesting subject and it does effect viewer retention!

Been watching for a couple years and I'm so glad that given how youtube decided to go of the youtubin deep end, that you managed to hang in through it with your sense of humor intact as your shield. Variety style content that says KZbin it, and breaks the mold is such a rarity more so those that do it well and can manage to stay fun no matter what they are doing and playing. Seeing the effect the last year had on you was deeply worrying and I'm glad you've come through it this far as well as you have. They just came out with a DLC about a "This Is Your Life" style talk show where, after the first play through, you get the ability to call the guests at the wrong time, either to try and uncover some extra secrets about the life of the special guest, get said guest drunk and/or angry to see what happens, or just give the show's host an OCD-induced panic attack.

Dan not understanding that "you can't save them all" and "choose one, or I'll choose for you" means that HE CAN'T SAVE EVERYONE AND NEEDS TO PICK SOMEONE OR THE GAME WILL DO IT FOR HIM is hilarious in the most infuriating kind of way. Apparently a lot of this DLC's feedback is saying that the entire thing is basically just trial and error helps Dan's case though.

Your previous choices don’t matter so long as the third room is the Costume Room (with the hanger). This will uncover the cause of the falling stuntman and, therefore, the first part of the mystery. In Act Two, you have to spare Patrick Bannon and sacrifice Holly first. Whether or not you also kill off Wayne de Spiritwhistle and Dr. Ahmed is up to you, but it _does_ boost ratings if they die too. If Holly is sacrificed _first,_ she’ll always end up in the vault. If Patrick is spared, he’ll always end up in the projector room. If both of these conditions are met, Holly will be in a prime position to solve the mystery herself. In Act Three, whoever was sacrificed first will end up in the Vault. Whats funny is this game actually got the basic of Live TV broadcasting right--even the mixer works that way by spamming these 1-4 buttons at the right time(it's usually 3 camera on the set+maybe 1 or 2 video-in for already filmed footage)

I love this game, and I'm so glad Dan had fun with it. I really really hope Dan does play the base game because its such a ride. Edit: Dan should also play the Telethon level of NFB. I think it is in the base game as a bonus level but the events are self-contained and don't affect the main story. It's hilarious, though.
