I Was WRONG About the 2024 Mustang GT....

Since the S650 Mustang has come out I have held believe that if you have S550 Mustang it made little sense to upgrade to 2024 Mustang GT. Well today I think I have been wrong about the S650 Mustang all along.
Today we discuss why it does make sense to upgrade to 2024 Mustang GT even if you currently have the S550 Mustang GT like me. Most cons that were associated with 2024 Mustang GT have proven themselves to not be really disadvantages.

Everyone hating on the screens in the mustang but almost every car nowadays has a big screen and if they don't its called outdated (see Lexus) I think the tech in the S650 looks cool. I would add a mode where you toggle the animations off

Yeah I agree. It’s one of those things that us car enthusiasts don’t like but mass majority associate screen with modern interior. So if ford keeps old school gauges it’s an instant no for most people

24k miles on my 24 mustang loving every minute of it. The car is great, head turner as every s550 n s650 out there. When it comes to pricing it is what it is so u just gonna make sure you can afford it. I wish it was not 4k more but here we are. The s550 is a great car just drive both n see whats your fav. I drove both n love both. Drivability is more or less the same.

Yup right on! Can’t do anything about pricing. Everything and every car has gone up! Both s550 and s650 are great cars and for the right deal s650 may make sense

Personally the only reason I went with a 24 is: The rate I got was really good, 6k off MSRP, and I absolutely love the interior screens (I’m 24), the S550’s 100% look outdated now due to that. I absolutely love my Grabber Blue S650 that I got fresh off the lot with around 7 miles.

Yeah for a deal like it’s better to get the s650! Honestly coming to mustang platform for the first time it may make sense to get s650 but s550 owners like myself have a difficult time justifying it

The infotainment screen on the premium trim for the s650 mustang looks much better than the separate screens that come on the base model. The S550 interior was nice but the upgraded interior of the s650 looks better imho. I’ve owned both. The exterior of the cars both look great. It’s all a matter of taste. The fake vents on the front lower corners of the s650 are a disappointment. The gloss black deck lid panel on the rear of the s550 mustang never appealed to me. Glad that the s650 doesn’t have it. Yeah the interior of the 2024 mustang is definitely nicer. The premium looks well put together in terms of screens but base isn’t a bad value as you get same options and customizations as premium screen. I think overall both great cars it depends if you want more raw experience or modern tech

Yeah I think they are both great, s650 has just grown on me. When it first came out I didn’t like it at all

thankfully the double-brow is actually iconic with the Mustang interior dashboard, so it’s more expected rather than a dated design. However in favor of the s650, i must admit the 2024 is equipped with more standard features. Remember your s550 content still has a huge audience searching and becoming first time buyers.

Yeah it’s the only time I’d say base mustang may be worth it otherwise it’s always been a stripped down rental spec that you were almost forced to buy the premium until they launched 301a

Only reason I didn't get 2024 and got the 2020 GT, 10 Spd Automatic PP1 is because I Love the 3 Row Front lights and the Bubble hood plus it came Metallic Grey! The color I Always wanted, Camero and Challenger drivers Always Looking😂 I know they like 'DAM that 5.0 is Epic,🌟✨💫

Yeah that’s a nice spec you got! The 2020 is a great bargain compared to 2024. If you tune it you’ll be faster than 2024 too

@@Red5oh -- i been seeing your videos, i Need help!!, my 2020 GT 5.0 Auto sports + works fine, It's just when i Drive in D Mode, 2-3 Gear Hesitate a little and that bugs me, WHat do you think that is? i think you had similar situation. do you think it needs a Soft wear update. i bought it at 7700 it has 10,000. All gears work fine Except 2-3 in D mode....(Help) i still have warranty* Never use it yet

Had a 2022 Mach 1 and then went and traded it for the Dark Horse and love the car. The 2022 was more refined but Ford had several years to incorporate those refinements. The 2024 has some bugs but hoping Ford will resolve them sooner then later. Took it to my 1st car show over the weekend and received lots of great comments.

@@Red5oh Really no justification, options about the same and this time I got the 10 speed auto. I was looking for a DH and found the color (Grabber Blue) and options I wanted. Paid invoice no markup and they gave me good money for the Mach 1 so I pulled the trigger and made a deal.

Best to wait it out as I'm seeing the 2024 model is like the 2015 model when it first came out n we know that the first model changes to anything is not the perfect version as there will be bugs to be fixed. No aftermarket eh? Perhaps this is intentional as the later models will have and then we will all sell or trade in our 550 for the 650 newest flavor. I'm still not liking the 650 body though. If only they added them ridges like lines n cuts that you see on your door panel n the tail part that shows that line which defines the car to make it look prettier. Maybe they will add it later n that is what they are going to do. If they make the 2024 model body to be better than the 550 then it'll be harder for them to beat the previous version of the 2024. The way I'm driving at 5k miles a month, I might not make it to see the 2026 version n I'm hoping it will be different body than the 24 n 25 with grooves n curves to the body. Regarding laptop looking screen interior to the 650, it looks more like an EV car like Tesla with her big screen panel for the main display. Now Instead of making it square, how about making it circle to keep the classic gauge? I dunno, I'm still waiting n holding out for changes.

Yes I’m with you there as the S650 changes are good but not enough to justify the price that they are charging. I want to see what they’d do for the refresh which probably won’t happen until 2027 model year. The way 2025 price increase I don’t even want to imagine what the price works be by 2027 model year. Probably $55k for base model
