I have a theory about how iOS 18 will be beneficial for those with a disability that makes them quadriplegic. For example, if someone is nonverbal and quadriplegic due to ALS and they have an iPhone 12 they can have their iPhone double up as an eye, gaze communication device because of the eye tracking technology, I’ve seen videos with people talking using an eye gaze communication device on my iPhone and it made me think about the next update and what it could do and when iOS 18 was announced about that eye, tracking, technology and stuff, it could help people that can’t really use an iPhone, and that are nonverbal because it can double up as an eye gaze communication device

No I have s22ultra n I upgraded to s24ultra. I returned n rebought 6 times n every phone I got had terrible color my s22ultra screen is better. Also it kept dimming itself n over heating with adaptive brightness off. N it was buggy if I wanted to like a istagram reel on Facebook the like button would disappear on all 6 phones. The new update made the s24 ultra very buggy n I tried 6 phones they all had issues oh n the camera was terrible between 3 n 11x zoom the color would wash out again on all 6 phones so I returned everyone and went back to my s22ultra hoping s25ultra will be better but until then I'm debating switching to apple in September

I did had an iPhone 14 pro until 2 weeks ago, but traded it in for a Google Pixel Fold (have a thing for Pixels myself); although the keynote was cool, I did not felt that I was missing out too much. I get to come back and forth between iOS and Android, having a preference with Android but appreciating the little things Apple does to make the OS behave "flawless" to some extent. I do not think I would switch back (at least not for now), but I do am happy for the iOS user that gets to experience how nice to tailor your device experience to their own liking. I'm glad that they get to enjoy these things as well and glad that Apple finally gave in for customization as well!

@kelvinmulder3985 you literally have both phones, your pixel has every customisation feature your iphone has ,amd more , and more usefull ones like the way you Don't have to get out of an app to change its settings.. the camera app for example and all system apps on iphones in order to change their settings u gotta go to the settings app.. amd then back to thr camera app. Another example is the material you theming you know with the colors , where u can set similar colors for the app icons and wallpaper, these colors are also used in apps that support the material you thing.. these are apps like google translate, Gmail, playstore, and ui elements like Google keyboard, quick settings. But apple only apply the colors in wallpaper and app icons. On android you can use whole launchers ... and entirely change your homescreen and app drawer , you can find app icon packs and set then with a click of a button while on iphone u gotta design yourself every singe app icons wich takes a horrendous amount of time. Pixels are the most restricted androids when it comes to customisation but still more customisable than iphones. U have both phones man just take some time and get through all settings of both phones.

You should watch the rest of the keynote because it may change you being 50/50. 80-90% of the AI is on device, not sent to an open AI server for responses, creating ultimate privacy. And in the 10-15% ish chance it need open AI, it ask you for permission every time do you wanna use CHATGPT. Let’s not forget it’s free too. It’s all FREE! I’ve had Apple for years…I never got rid of my Androids. The networking chipsets are absolute trash! 🗑️ (connectivity, jumping access points, 2g functionality)… that’s my only gripe. I agree it’s “neat” seeing these old features come over to the iOS platform. My one concern is the ChatGPT integration, I’m waiting to see how that plays out while I decide if I’m keeping with Apple for a daily use device (I’ve sorted out the solutions for the networking issues for my company) as I don’t “have” to have an Iphone for anything beyond content creation. I’m hoping that it goes well, I’d prefer to must stay fully in the ecosystem if possible and having my Galaxy for when I travel abroad

RCS is going to be the real game changer: They won't be a set of Android users who are peer pressured by their circle into using iphone just because sharing files get degraded. It will also for the same reason allow Apple users who are bored with Apple because lack of innovation. That S24 and the various flip phones are going to be real tempting now( especially if iPhone 16 is lack luster come September. Not to mention the budget friendly and still powerful Goggles phone. RCS now draws that line in the sand so the next few months should be interesting.....✌🏾

I have used Android most of my life, when I was 17 10 years ago or whenever the iphone 7 was out that was my first iphone but went back to android, 2 months ago i got a 15 pro max after deciding to quit android as I had issues such as my entire phone becoming hacked and i just don't like google. I am happy with iPhone, Airpods and apple watch are great. I even got the new iPad pro last month, Love it. Apple for the win baby, just a shame they didn't announce any changes with stage manager for iPad cause it sucks imo but other than that LETS GO APPLE

CJ, I love the way you present tech content. It is refreshing and so much more fun and engaging. I would have to say I am still going back to Samsung. Apple may have this stuff but since Samsung/android has been doing it for longer it is just better. Plus seri still sucks and those updates for the assistant will need testing before i am convinced.

Honestly ,just glad that I got an iPhone 14 Pro Max and as android user ,hmm,if apple can implement using back gestures from both side ,not only from the left side ,I m done with android,I don’t care about split shit or more about customization , the only thing that can make me to consider android is if the system is as polished as iOS , but right now , I don’t think so ,because ,developers always prioritize iOS more than android and that’s very sad ,google got a lot of work 😢😢😢
