Lisa Bluder is probably the happiest person outside of the players about White. She probably got tired of hearing people say she would come out of retirement. Plus Lisa and Stephanie have had a good relationship for years. Also Bluder looked like she ate something disagreeing with her when she was at Fever games. Bluder knew Sides was over her head. If we knew she was a bad in game coach, a real coach would know in more detail.

Ok...I needled you a bit. But no harm, no foul, Truth. I still appreciate your passion, following Caitlin and The Fever. I'm VERY excited about Steph White being the coach. I think almost all the pieces are in place...if "we" get Satou Sabally, there's no stopping the Fever Train. I'm just one person, nothing special, but your willingness to make this video just earned my subscription. I think Stephanie White is going to go down in history with this team. She might become one of the best and most respected coaches in basketball.

The Sun may have just let her out of the last year of her contract to get closer to home so she could deal with family-related issues. Don't really know, so just guessing about that. Kudos for not only making a clear prediction in the first place, but also accepting the wrong guess gracefully. A whole lot of people would have been full of excuses!

Takes a good person to say they were wrong. Most of us are wrong often. Even when you are correct in something you say, a ton of people will say you are incorrect. Just do your own research. You will make more mistakes. So much info out there about CC, some true some not.

FYI I don't think coachs can be trade for players or so. Most of coach's that got fired lately were still under contracts but they still can decide to leave anytime and get hired by others teams.

No buy outs no trades. She was under contract for next year and the Sun do not have to pay that anymore because she is not sitting out the year. Sun is one of the most cash poor team in the league. They practice in a rec center where they share it with the community. They are owned by the Mohegan Tribe not the NBA. White was one the lowest paid coaches at 400k. Numerous teams offered White a deal over the past few days. Pretty sure the Sky was one of them. CC and White talked last night on the phone. All that I wrote Scott Agness who is a reporter in Indy, said on his personal podcast today.

It seemed like the obvious choice and made sense in the long run. However I was with you and the hopium that it may be Bluder. White was released from her last year I believe so she could move on. Clark posted immediately on IG so she supports White, she didn't say shit about Sides leaving. 😆 I just want White to remember that the offense runs through Clark!

Lisa was never an option. You can't just leap from college level to a pro level simply because Caitlin Clark was coached by her in college--which Clark would have been amazing anywhere anyway.

No need to apologize...not like you were giving out financial advices 😄 Coaches contracts will always have escape clauses. And if the coach does not was to coach the team, they're going to find a way to part ways. The way I see it, the Sun reach their ceiling with the current players, and many of their star players weren't happy with the organization. They just might blow up the team, and rebuild. Connecticut is just too small of a market to build a championship team.
