It’s for her fans to have them believe she in the lab working on her game. Who takes that shot and runs forward to get back on camera? Most players stay there and wait for the ball to be thrown back.

Her being up her shot from her left hip and the having an extra hitch in her delivery are really bad parts of her shot. This will cause inconsistency in her shot and allow shorter players to block her shot if she ever hits 2 in a row where someone needs to guard her out there. The fact that she can't dribble means if someone does have to respect her shot if she hits two in a row...she can't drive around them bc she is heavy footed and slow and can't dribble. She has very little skill and a lot to work on. Yes she had to start w bunnies. Then w her back to the rim from 3 to 6 ft b4 she tries a cc impression which takes yrs to perfect, if ever. If everyone could do it and b like cc then everyone would...and it would not b special.

Nice video. You are right, pick the low hanging fruit first. Just by making simple lay up will improve her game tremendously. Hope all the players want to improve their game to elevate WNBA to higher level. CC is about to take her game too next level come her 2nd season.

Developing shots requires lots of repetition. Week after week of just taking the same shots in the same positions over & over to develop the muscle memory. I just don't think Reese has the patience or drive to put in the work that requires. (Notice you only saw her take one 3pt shot in that video). I am not trying to be a hater, but the best indicator of future behavior is past behavior. Reese played on 2 top college teams that had great developmental programs, yet she never improved her shooting percentages & says she taught herself how to shoot. Yet there were stories about Flau'jae's insane schedule of getting up at 5am to get in her extra reps, practices & training on top of her regular team practices, classes & rap. Unfortunately Reese seems to me like a player with lots of natural athleticism who only tries when it benefits her. Reese has always wanted to be a 3pt shooter. She tried to sneak them into games throughout her college years, but she never worked on improving her efficiency with them. And early in her WNBA rookie season Reese played great defense, but as the season progressed you could see her get more & more selective about when she tried hard on defense. And developing her shooting is even more important in the WNBA. Due to the 3-second offensive paint rules in the WNBA, forwards not only need a variety of shots, they need to be efficient at those shots to properly space the floor & better spread defenders. I truly hope she proves me wrong, because with her natural talent & motor, if she actually did put in the work to improve her efficiency & expand her shot choices, she could be a great player.

Working on that 3 will open up the floor for Cardoso. Angel is a good defender and she holds her own when she goes 1v1 on offense. And you can't post her up. Anyone who can't score on their own and can't defend outside will eventually get exposed big time because you can't work on getting faster. And if you're not tuff enough to defend in the paint that will get exposed to.

LOL Don't they see how pathetic it is to brag about a 6'3" tall CHAMPIONSHIP winning player just learning how to shoot 3 pointers (because you know they just love to mention her amateur accomplishments from years ago in discussing her pro career! LOL)? It's not really a good look to announce to the world that Angel Reese can't make a 3 point shot as a professional basketball player. At the top of page one of Angel's list of things to work on should be humility and layups. Three-pointers should be somewhere over on page one hundred.

Cathy Englebert and her cronies should all be fired. The whole system stinks. They wanted Angel Reese to be ROTY, but seeing that Caitlin was on another planet, They had to award ROTY to Caitlin, but with a twist, it could not be unanimous, another jab at Caitlin, giving Angel one vote was ridiculous, then the next jab at Caitlin, the MVP vote another scandal, putting Caitlin in fourth place, she beat everyone above her with her stats, even A'ja Wilson, if you add total points made in the season, that was 769 points + 337 assists, from those assists how many were three pointers, and how many two pointers, so added together Caitlin had over 100 points more than A'ja, and Sheryl Swoops said Caitlin was not dominating, Swoops is a joke, it was fixed the whole season, even the final game was disgraceful, from the referees to Cathy Englebert and her NY skyline dress.

The "hate" is real...The lengths that they go to diminish her record shattering year to make all the WNBA regulars who didn't do 1/10th of what she's accomplished in her first year as a 22 year old rookie is obscene AND it's telling of their contempt for her. But that's okay, because they'll never be able to block her shine! CC is going to dominate in 2025 and when she runs out of WNBA veteran records to break, she's going to have to start breaking her own because she's a thug like that! 😂
