Remastered in 4K by Akshat Luthra. Elvis Presley rehearses the song "Washed My Hands in Muddy Water" in Culver City, CA and this footage was shot on July 29, 1970, during one of Elvis' Rehearsal sessions. This is an outtake from the 1970 documentary "That's The Way It Is" (1970) which covers Elvis Presley's Las Vegas Engagement shows during the summer festival. This footage was featured on the 1993 Lost Performances Footage DVD by Warner Bros Entertainment.

Already commented previously, but anyone coming to this musical phenomenon that is Elvis P to just recognise his voice, looks, style, presence and what a fun guy to be around he was. There are few performers even today that have not had such public and media scrutiny and invasion of privacy that he did way back when. He was dignified, polite, caring and most certainly a SUPERSTAR that adored and was so grateful to his fans.

I don't know know Elvis' voice got so lazy even on many 70s records, he used to make his voice rhythmic with light and shade, soft vocals building into loud crescendo...he lost all of that on most 70s tracks after 72.
