When you sign your drivers license you agree to obey the laws and to take a breathalyzer when asked by the law. When you refuse it is grounds for having your license suspended~

In the UK, if you refuse to take a breathalyser, they can either get a court order to take a blood sample, or they just automatically assume that you're guilty and you've given up your right to take a breathalyser to defend yourself. You absolutely can not refuse a breathalyser and get away with it here. I'm amazed that the US is seemingly more lax than us on this.

It really doesn't matter because refusing to take a breathalyzer is an automatic license suspension whether you are Intoxicated or not. The only reason anyone has to refuse to take a breathalyzer is because they're over the limit and there's alcohol in their system. It's worth the license suspension because in the end there's plausible deniability since they can't release hospital records and they always seal the court records. I had a (now disowned) family member get away with their FIFTH DUI because it took longer than the 3 hour window to get his blood drawn for evidence in the case. Why do celebrities think we're dumb?
