We have remtrons on our line pumps anything over 200' they costantly lose connection. Our Schwing was wired up so you'd have to go all the way back to the pump to reset the remote, When you're 250' out that makes for a long day. Do you use a pig when you prime? If you do I just sit the reducer on the bucket after I dump the prime in, Makes it really easy to hook the hose up. Did you ever get your old rock valve shaft machined?

What’s the max length of hose that pump can handle under ideal circumstances? I’m sure uneven ground and turns in the hoses cause a lot of friction loss.

It’s rated at 1100 feet horizontal and 330 feet vertical

I don't see why you can't pull in the driveway as much as you can to eliminate extra hoses..

They definitely didn’t want us on that driveway. We could have pulled up the side but that dang side walk was there. Sometimes you just have to lock the hubs in!

@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping we always used a sponge on a 25 to hold the prime and seperates it also and you can use a 50 for the 2 buckets or 2 25s
