They did have items like tuna poke, fish, pork and chicken, even Chinese items and fruit, desserts and crepe's! But this isn't a seafood buffet by any means, nor would I call it an American buffet. That's not the price of the buffet, it's the price of entrance to the park, all the rides, line skips and the VIP experience and get behind the scenes tours. The buffet is included, you're paying for everything else and the reason you're encouraged to keep moving through the buffet is that you're with a tour guide and have an entire schedule of events to get through for the day. The meal is just one quick stop along the way to doing everything else.

It's not like it cost extra, same with the free breakfast, it's just a stopping point for food along the way to everything else you're doing. They don't even make a big deal out of it in the package they sell you; he's just playing it up for a clickbait title because this is normally a food focused channel while what he paid for was an all day VIP experience including guided tours.

Two things i noticed….First the scanning of the buffet looked really unimpressive with the lack of availability of the offered foods, like the spaghetti in the oil and the look of a messy salad bar… Secondly I would say most of the people are going for the rides…Joel goes for the food. Been to Universal myself 2 times and it was fun. Back in the day…1990s it was really expensive. Now I can’t imagine. Good video!

That's not what happened at all. He paid for the VIP tour, there's a scheduled stop in the middle for a lunch break that includes the buffet. He spent half the break filming and all the staff did was remind him what time the rest of the tour continues as their tour guide would be waiting for them at a specific time.

Admission is between 100-150 depending on the day. Express pass is another 100-150. With the VIP pass for another $100, you get the VIP tour, UNLIMITED access to all rides including mariokart ( the regular express pass gives you a ONE TIME access to rides EXCLUDING mariokart) and you also get free valet parking worth $30-40. He got all the perks mentioned above for $400. The food is basically free. He didn't pay $400 for the food he paid $400 for the entire experience. This video is garbage and misleading. I don’t know why anyone would go to any amusement park anymore to wait in line for an hour or two for a three minute ride is just wrong and 60for the first time I went to Disneyland. It cost four dollars to get in when mom and me walked around the park, people were waiting at the rides for us to walk up. There couldn’t have been more than. 500 people in the entire park. It was such a nice experience. Now these amusement parks are some kind of a sadistic nightmare.

Good afternoon Joel happy Easter. Your tour guide she was funny and did amazing the sets were seriously badarse they were so cool, The flash floods and super Mario world holy I had no idea this place was so so big, I loved seeing the war off the world's set and everything else. Food looked nothing epic just looked like your every day all you can eat buffet to be fair. I guess the 400 dollar ticket is worth it more for the amazing tour. Appreciate the adventure that was fun, And 100 percent I'll be watching this fireball challenge.

Buffet is buffet meaning pick and choose what you want to eat not once did the ticket claim all you can eat. The "experience" has a set schedule and sitting and eating for 90 min isn't listed

You fell for the clickbait title. 1) It's not a $400 buffet, he paid for entry to the park plus the VIP tour, that's what the price was for, the buffet is just included for lunch. 2) The lunch is just a mid day break, the tour continues at a set time, all they did was remind him what time the tour guide was leaving for the next part. He also spent half the break filming instead of eating, I doubt he wanted to be full when he still had half a day of walking around the park to go.

Yea, he said that and he didn't buy the cheapest entry ticket, he bought the most expensive VIP package that included line skips for the rides, two free meals and numerous scheduled guided tours with tour guides and behind the scenes access to parts of the studio that the regular tickets don't give access to. The buffet (and breakfast) are considered free bonuses and not even the main thing you're paying for, they are just breaks from the entire day of scheduled events.
