Hey Daniel, if you're reading this I hope this can be useful for you. I'm a long time viewer and I think you do have talent in drawing, you do have talent in story telling, but one thing that's holding you back is your inability to push through doing something you might not enjoy for the sake of your future. Delayed gratification and sacrifice is a very very important and real aspect of life if you want to succeed in your definition. E.g. you can't pursue drawing but only drawing what you want, you might be able to in the future but you gotta also take the bad with the good. You need to work on your resilience in doing things you dont like for the sake of getting what's important for your future.

You're not even 40 yet Daniel, theres people who literally have entire career changes in their 30s. A man told me his 50s were his best years. Life is what you make of it, its important to reflect and rebuild yourself to avoid the previous pitfalls. You literally say you have no willpower or no idea of what you wish to learn. That in itself points to your mental health. You need to get physically active again, let the energy get back to you, and then channel the new found mental energy into trying different jobs and experiences. I can mentor you, literally, I'll do it for free, I've mentored several people into a career. I've seen your videos enough to know that you need help.
@IHaveNoNameNoHome4 күн бұрын
he does, but unfortunately he won't take you up on your offer... some people have been stuck in their ways for so long they've become addicted to their own misery. He has said many times he doesn't want to change and you kinda just have to accept that's the place he's in mentally, until something life changing happens, or some kind of tragedy like a death or drastic change in life circumstances occurs that forces him to confront his pain, he simply won't change. I would hope to be proven wrong by him though!

Some would say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. No disrespect but no one wants to watch a middle aged man sitting in his room talking about nothing for 8 hours straight, I've been a follower since before the girlfriend with kid arc and I mean this in the most positive way possible. You've a channel of 112k, that's no easy feat. Use it to your advantage and try new things. Try gaming content for example, no, I'm not talking about getting the current biggest game and saying it sucks balls for click bait. Play through chillas art convenience store, tell your stories of how you worked in a Japanese store and do comparisons while playing. Play gas station simulator and compare it to your experiences, play some rage games like bennet foddy or relaxing ones like a little to the left while chatting. Mix it up a bit, you'll never start making money again by constantly talking about the 2 interesting things you've done in your life. Like I said, this is constructive criticism, I may come across as a prick but I'm rooting for you 👍 I hope for your sake you change up the channel, earn your watchers back instead of trying to appeal to the ones that want to see you fail.

You can still go to university and graduate by the time you're 40. Get a teaching degree and study Japanese; that's the only long-term entry into Japan, but also into the rest of Asia where you can teach English at a higher level. As adults, we can't just do things we like if we want to survive and don't have enough money for retirement by age 30. Alternatively, simply stay in the UK, get a random job, or go to trade school. If you don't want to study in UK, I'd suggest limkokwing university in Malaysia , is a great arts/business school. Enough for you to get a degree, enjoy life in Malaysia KZbin your experiences and at the end being able to get a job anywhere in Asia and not to worry about getting a visa.

Don't give up Daniel! Going to church might help, find ppl to learn from, and maybe get their advice. Like a role model or mentor! for stocks, you could always try Dividend stocks, I don't know much about them, but I've seen ppl make a small amount of money over time on them on YT. Basically you hold stocks that pay you a small amount for having them every once in awhile. Or you could put money into like Savings, or CDs or something and reinvest some of the interest too! (I believe CDs are where you put your money locked in at an interest rate and can't use it for awhile, but it earns interest). Trying to overcome the lethargy or the feeling of giving up can be a good thing! Persevere! You could get a job and save up money that way for now, invest it or use it to pay down debts! Going to church is good because you could ask people there who seem to know what they are doing their opinion. Plus the bible has wisdom in it, if it wasn't good, it wouldn't have been around as long as it has been, even historians use it as a source for things to check findings against!

Most of us are average and not really good at any one thing, that’s why it’s called average. We fall in a job and stay there and learn it and do it for as long as we can. Sure, it’s mundane and can be challenging but it pays so that we can have money for stuff. You say you keep boomeranging back home and then you list the reasons why it happens…no willpower or determination to follow through on anything, but then you ridiculously go on to blame the country. You are your worst enemy. KZbin is the only thing you stick with because it’s fairly easy but it’s getting you nowhere. People who do have a talent still go to school to improve upon it so that they can make it their livelihood. You’re looking for gold on a sandy beach. This is your life. It won’t change unless your determination changes. Nothing worth having is easy. You give up on putting effort in to videos because they don’t get a ton of views when you do try. Making an effort to succeed is a long-term concept. Many of us want the best for you and hope that someday you come to the realization that your outlook on work and relationships needs to change to where you can see there are rewards when you put in the continued effort and not just give up because something doesn’t work the first time. Good luck, Daniel! Keep making these videos please.

Oh, Daniel... You really should have treated Chihiro better and started a small English tutoring business with her. I've seen countless situation like yours. They lock themselves up in their (literal or metaphorical) room for *decades* trying to escape reality until their elderly parents die. I'm sure you can guess what someone in their 40s-50s who has been living in their room for the past 10+ years with: no money, no skills, no education, no close relationships, no job experience, and severe social anxiety does after their safety net has completely vanished. That 200-300k will not last if you refuse to find a job. Stocks and index funds will not save you.

It's hard to feel sorry for this guy...because he admits in other videos that he is mainly Trolling us all. It's hard to believe if he is serious or not, with his stupid Clickbaiy Headlines...😢

Is it surprising that someone who refuses to learn from others and lacks empathy struggles to progress in life ?

Very relatable. I like to laugh at you but only because I feel the similarities. Watched you since last 2017 and have similar path. 34 later this year. Had girlfriends and jobs and it's sort of going OK for a little while. MAYBE a few years. But something goes wrong and then end up leaving work and or destroying my relationships. Go back to bumming around and then trying to meet as many women from dating apps as possible. Get another job get a girlfriend see how it goes and repeat the process. Definitely have the same mental regression problems. Jealous of your middle class upbringing though. If I totally mess up this time I'll be homeless on the streets of london. Count your blessings I guess.
