Just a fun fact: William Hartnell was technically the first doctor to break the fourth wall, and Sylvestor McCoy did it a lot throughout his era. It's always been a part of Doctor Who and im sooooo happy that this new era is embracing it so much

@MrKakeJelly The breaking of the 4th wall may be suggesting something bigger. The ones who do it the most seem to be the Pantheon since they are from outside the universe. It makes sense they would notice outsiders looking in.

The idea of the toymaker wanting a kid makes sense really, would have seen it as a game, but more than likely he got bored quite quickly, locked them away where they coulsnt spoil his fun. Now hes gone, we proba gunna see more threats that he kept in his toybox

"There's always a Twist at the end." Maybe it's a Susan Twist. There was also the billboard near the end for "Chris WAITES and the CARROLERS", which feels like it probably ties to "the one who waits" somehow and maybe also to the Ruby/Christmas connection.

About the 'what is to come', I always think of the 'four knocks' and everyone was thinking of the Master that will kill the Doctor... and maybe in a way it was, but nobody expected it to be because of 'HIM' and it broke all our hearts but in a genius way. So not trusting them to give us something to expect and then: "TADAAAAA!!' breaking our hearts ... again.

strange ending, love it, love the fact that people lost their collective minds, meanwhile, been loving the episodes, and think it was cause the theme of the episode was music themed, and was just showing how the ending was lively in contrast to the rest without music which was bleak and depressing,

Hey Jake, good reaction. Jinx was great as maestro, but was full on drag energy all the time which let it down a bit for me. But i hope we see her again a good villain. @@MrKakeJelly I'm an old-school book Sherlockian (or Holmesian in British, I guess) and a collector of adaptations. "A Scandal in Belgravia" owes as much to _The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes_ (from which they also got their thin Mycroft in the person of Christopher Lee) as to "A Scandal in Bohemia," though.

You don't have to like the Beatles, but you do recognise what they did, and that is why they are placed so high in the order of things. Live Elvis before them, they did things that had never been done, sounds that were revolutionary and new ideas using the technology in new ways. Without the Beatles there would be no Pink Floyd, no Supertramp, no ELO, no Bee Gees (and so on, you get the picture) and the influences they had over others.
