I remember I used to dislike Apple (not hate because that’s a strong word) because of her trying to force Raven into singing the storybook of legends to be the villain in her destined story as I saw Apple as selfish and wanting that happily ever after in her story, but after rewatching the series, I can understand why she wanted Raven to sign the book as Apple has shown to care for her friends, especially Raven because she didn’t want anything bad happening to her friends if one of them didn’t sign the storybook of legends. In a way, she was both in the right and wrong and her reasoning was both selfish and selfless?

i also disliked apple for the same reason and after rewatching i also realized she has both selfless and selfish reasons for doing what she does + thinking the way she thinks. i don't think she's a super phenomenal character or anything and still prefer raven over her lol, but nowadays i think i learnt to enjoy her complexity and understand it better than i did back in the day. thank you for the comment!! :)

you absolutellyyyyy need to read the books. trust me. it just makes so much more sense 😭and there's better development and story building, showing relationships and leading to the climax. just everything. of course there are some parts that are in the show that are not included in the books, but the books came out before the show and it did well with what it focused on.

Oh my god I'm so emotional, as a child me and my best friend would watch EAH throughout all the afternoon, because she had the box with the DVD's. After that we would always pretend we were characters from the cartoon, I was always raven because I loved purple, and she said she would be apple white because she had flaws and everyone around her pointed it. So one day she went to my house and said " I hate you, you don't deserve a happily ever after" and I was like "Okay???", and at my room there was a Nerf from the collection "Rebels", it was a little bow, and she threw it out the window for a car to destroy it. What I mean is, my vision from Apple white was NOT GOOD, and you changed it with this video! You deserve credits for it thank you very much, now I think I deserve to live happily ever after because of you, I'll never EVER after high forget it

I loved this series but i dont remember much of it at all! it's super interesting to look back on it

i remembered the major plot points but not a lot of the details, so it was super interesting to look back on it too! i also didn't mention it or else the video would be too long but i rewatched some of the webisodes too and they're still pretty fun

First time watching you really don’t like apple and always root for Raven. After a while and watching it again or looking at the movie you realize how apple was also just a teenage girl being influenced by everyone and you sympathize with her.

yes! i think it's great that by rewatching the show we are able to see a lot more nuance to apple, and i like it that the writers didn't make her a shallow antagonist either
