Trust is the foundation of CaitVi’s relationship. Vi didn’t forgive Caitlyn until episode 8. Vi knew Jinx was there, and she was gonna let her shoot Cait if she didn’t follow through on the plan. Cait isn’t as mad at Jinx after because she saves her life from Rictus after Cait knocks out Singed. Vi comes back, looks at Cait hurt, and turns to hug Jinx & Warwick because family will always come first for her. Vi & Cait argue about it in ep 8, with Cait stating she knew Jinx “wasn’t there for her benefit,” and she “recognizes a contingency plan when she sees one,” with Vi countering by stating “she was easily manipulated by Ambessa” & didn’t fully trust her. Cait says “we can’t erase our mistakes”, knowing she did terrible things, and Vi responds “who decides who gets a second chance?” telling her the decision to forgive Jinx is not hers to make. She knew Vi would free Jinx, but she didn’t expect Vi to be locked up, hence “I had a feeling I might find you here.” “While you were gone, I saw someone,” Cait feels she needs to confess everything, do more to win back Vi’s trust, not knowing she already has by sending all the guards away and letting Jinx go (why Vi initiates their makeout). Cait was never gonna stop trying to win back Vi.

Fun fact: studio Fortiche, the animation studio are a French company and as such the original plan for *that* scene was much more erotic than what was put in the final version

JINX ISNT DEAD! In season one we see jinx say one day she’ll ride in one of those ships seen in the ending scene! And towards the end of the explosion, we see a streak of pink exit the hexgates and away from the explosion! That’s why we see Caitlyn looking at a map of the hexgates’ exit points where they were. But jinx had been doing as ghost silco told her. “We build our own prisons, bars forged of oaths, codes, commitments, walls of self doubt, and accepted limitations” Jinx needed to heal. And as he stated, the cycle only ends when you find the will to walk away. Ekko stated something with a similar sentiment, in order to take a leap forward, sometimes you have to leave a few things behind. She was always going to leave but wanted to on good terms with her sister. It’s very bittersweet. (Also how cruel is it that viktor needed to achieve his goals, not be forgotten in death(while he was sick) and he wound up not even being credited for the hexgates. Only Jayce’s name was on the map…horrifying that after it all he was still forgotten and will only be remembered for his faults.) there’s SO MUCH hidden in the visual narratives in this show that I appreciate so much. Like viktor and Jayce regaining understanding of one another after so much miscommunication. Jayce going through trials representing viktor’s struggle to gain a spot as someone seen as anything but his class or disability, what with him injuring his own leg and finding the strength to climb out of the cavern to the tops of the hexgates. And so so so much more. I love this show so much. Genuinely saved that damned games lore lol

2:03:49 In his original lore Ekko actually collaborated with several of his “Alt” selves when he shatters time and space, so he’s fine in basically every timeline

Also when Viktor gives his little speech 1:40:43 (if you hadn’t cut there :( ) when he says “Humanity” you can see the Doctor in the ruins of the hut standing with the device in his hands, he probably woke up after Cait choked him out and administered the orange stuff when her, Vi, Jinx and Isha left the hut because of the screaming bodies. You can see that Vander is still in there, he goes for Ambessa’s bodyguard reaching for his weapon instead of going for the group, only hits jinx because he reacted to that spear jab to his back etc. so while you’re not exactly wrong , he is burning from the inside but his healing is preventing him from dying which is why he is rampaging around in absolute agony.

In the last scene with vi by the fire, you can see that she got jinx’s blue cloud tattoos on her arm now 🥹 also jinx isn’t dead and there a lot to prove that and if you go back to episode 1 of season 1 she says that she going to ride one of the air ship things and at the last second you see it flying off and “the end” it’s written in her handwriting
