CIVIL was such a GOOD movie , excellent story as well. It made us realise the consequences of superheroes . It also led to split between the Avengers which you think now is so crucial for Infinity war and Endgame, because Had the Avengers were together , there's no way THANOS could defeat them . Hence, the split was needed to make fight and situation more realistic. That's exactly what DC lacks, where Superman alone was doing the job Flash and defeated Stepphenwold with ease while others were struggling

Yes if I think from ur point of view I also get an idea. She could sense him as soon as his hand came in at a time when the stone didn't even enter the room. It's actually not, almost 90% of the things he said are well know observable things, nothing EXCLUSIVE about them, I feel he just wanted to make a video from nostalgia and create easter eggs from every second of the movie, and give explanations that EVERYONE knows, Wanda changing vision density, Spiderman catching Bucky punch casually, captain America countering Spiderman webs, Bucky feeling bad for killing iron man's parents, like EVERYTHING is so trivial, I don't understand how he didn't notice all this the MULTIPLE times he's seen this, is he partially blind? This is a PERFECT summary of his explanation The scene : Spiderman using his Spidey sense to dodge an incoming door thrown at him from behind him and redirects it back at Bucky without looking. Him : hey guys I watched the video at 0.25x speed and guess what I found, did you know that Spiderman uses his Spidey sense to dodge an incoming door thrown at him from behind him and redirects it back at Bucky without looking

When Cap asks Peter where he’s from, it’s a call back to where Dr. Erskein was from, the doctor who gave him his powers and gave him the talk about being having power and being a good man. Erskein tells cap he’s from queens in their first interaction, so when Peter said he was from queens too, I think thats why Cap chuckled a little, because someone who had “heart”, was from the same place as the person who taught him what it means to have “heart”. 10:00 just a detail that found to be pretty meaningful.

@@giornikitop5373 I think it has less to do with Peter holding back and more to do with _how_ Cap subverted him. He didn't straight overpower him, he thought his way out, using momentum and his whole body to gain the upper hand. While I think the MCU Spider-Man and Captain America are _closer_ in strength than their comic counterparts, given the power displayed by Spidey, Cap would still likely lose a direct competition of strength.
@giornikitop5373
@giornikitop5373 Жыл бұрын
@@anonymousaccordionist3326 of course in MCU you can't have the full power of the characters, because the fights will last a few seconds and that will be a boring a movie. but the fact is still the same, peter will never fight cap with intension of hurting him. it doesn't matter what cap uses, if spidey really wanted, his strength, speed, durability and agility are so far ahead, that cap wouldn't be able to land a single hit. and even if he somehow did, than wouldn't cause any damage. their fights are more like play-fighting than anything else.

I don't think Bucky falling during the roof jump scene was necessarily indicative of Cap being a better Cap, except if you factor in Bucky's disability (his lost arm). Our arms account for a *ton* of our ability to balance ourselves. If you can't feel your arm, or your arm is tied behind your back, try jumping over a long gap. You'll definitely wobble. It's not entirely the arm itself that balances your weight, but your brain's ability to calculate your center of gravity using physical sensation. Bucky's strength is also his weakness, which was probably intended to be of narrative significance there... since it is. His lack of feeling.

@@donlywoodward5565 True, or at least it was true during this movie. Possibly not anymore, since it's now made of Vibranium, which is extremely lightweight. Vibranium seems heavier than it is because it's supposed to be the metallic equivalent of diamond, making up for its light weight with tensile strength and thus the kinetic force it can transfer into what it hits. Theoretically it can crack but can't bend, and if it cracks, it would go all the way through whatever object it was made of. But yep! And Bucky's stance is always noticeably wonky to account for its weight difference.

Really a great little detail that Peter responds to "Where you from?" with his home borough instead of the city. Just a very "New York" type of thing, from what I can tell, that communicates a lot to the audience about the character and their identity. Dialogue written accurately for a kid from Queens to a guy from (1920s-40s) Brooklyn.

Every time i look at these phase 4 movies and TV shows my mind goes back to the good old days of Civil War. Not Endgame or Infinity War but Civil War. It was just the perfect movie to kick start phase 3. Ground based which meant no flashy heroes with extravagant superpowers (except Wanda and Vision who were perfectly managed by the directors). And my favourites Cap and Tony going at it, each having a logical standpoint about the conflict. Ah man nostalgia.

Here's another detail. Wonda's arm movement when forcing Vision to release Clint is a large swing open, as to release or make him lighter. Then she brings her arms together as if to compress/make Vision more dense. The body language for her movements is very deep in this movie.

Greatest breakdown exists: 1. Mind stone colour changed to red I never noticed this even though i have watched this movie like 15 times 2. Vision flying ability: he lowered his body density to fly 3. Emotional scene between Cap, Tony & Bucky This climax portion alone gives me too much goosebumps Man, tony's reaction when he finds out that bucky killed his parents and Cap knew this but never told him, And We can see How Helpless Cap was. Amazing breakdown lad. Now waiting for Both Avengers: IW & EG breakdowns again 🔥

There is a small detail too, bucky didn't throw his punch at full force, he saw that spidy was a kid and was new... so he threw a much lighter punch than usual... but was amazed when he saw spidy's defence... When bucky is at full rage, even Cap struggles to fight, he even stoped his shields and attacks with ease... and almost destroyed Tony's arc reactor... The fact is bucky was not at full rage, while fighting with spidy, he wanted to tackle his attacks in a defensive manner, rather than a deadly fight like before... Hope Canadian Lad see this 👍

The point about the Russos framing shots is why I love their movies. They make it clearly readable by the audience especially in action scenes (just like most Hong Kong action directors) when most Hollywood directors and editors would just constantly use cuts every second or two which is really annoying and makes it hard to follow the action.

5:24 I don't think this is correct. I think Black Panther and Cap are running at the same speed but Bucky started further ahead and Cap and BP were closer together at the beginning of the sprint which is why the camera had less time to focus on Cap after focusing on BP for so long. Plus if you think about the scene in the battle of Wakanda where Black Panther and Cap sprint ahead of the Wakandans to start fighting, they're neck and neck.

@sgardner4313
@sgardner4313 Жыл бұрын
Interesting, but note that he didn't actually say "has A heart", he said, "has heart" -- which usually means one has courage, determination, and implies a purity of intent (i.e., Spidey is fighting for what he believes in). Cap is all about heart: it's practically his defining attribute. So this is a very high compliment indeed.

Spider-Man's debut in this movie was epic. I felt that the MCU drop the ball with him in Far From Home, Infinity War, and End Game. In terms with his abilities, they weren't shown 100%: his acrobatics on the ground, fighting style, and jumping abilities (he can jump 10 stories tall).
